Did you know God’s will and plans will definitely come to pass in the lives of all those put their trust absolutely on Him irrespective of the situations, irrespective of the past years of wastage, of idleness, pf poverty and of weakness? That was the case for Mordecai. By God’s grace and by His power and authority, your years of idleness and troubles will end and the years you have lost and the things you have lost or missed will be restored. No promise of God for your life will be denied, none of His words concerning you and your future will be stopped and none of His goodness in your destiny will be taken away from you. That was the case for Mordecai, God in His ways and wisdom planned and executed all of His plans for his life. God spared his life, God kept his life, God positioned him where he can be seen, God executed Haman for his sake, and God rescued and restored him for His glory. The plans of God for you now and in the future can only be delayed but they cannot be taken away.
Keep your trust in Him, remain faithful to Him and to His words; remember, irrespective of your situation and location, God will not forget you, He will remember, rescue, restore, bless and also honor you. He did it for Mordecai and Esther, He will do it for you also. This is how God began His work and plans in the life of Mordecai; God used Mordecai to guide Esther when both of her parents died in her tender years as a girl; God gave Esther exceptional beauty and admiration to be the next queen in the province; God gave Esther grace to be loved and favored by the king and his household thereafter; God made the king to remember Mordecai at a time he was scheduled to be destroyed and all the Jews killed; God gave Esther the ability and the privilege to know what was going on between Haman and Mordecai, his evil plans to kill; God used Queen Esther to speak on behalf of Mordecai to the king right before Haman and other guests present in the palace, God allowed Haman to be hanged by the order of the king so Mordecai can be totally rescued and released. At the appropriate time, God remembered, rescued, restored, honored, and elevated Mordecai so he can be useful in the hands of God to do His will execute His plans and bring honor to God in the province. God remembered Mordecai so that he Mordecai, will fulfill the plans of God to rescue and deliver the Jews from destruction and shame at his time.
This is how Mordecai started fulfilling God plans and liberating the Jews. “Mordecai wrote orders, decrees in the name of King Xerxes and sealed the letters with the king’s signet ring. Then he sent the king’s orders by messengers on fast horses, horses that were raised just especially for the king. These were the king’s orders, decrees; the Jews in every city have the right to gather together to protect themselves and defend their lives. They may destroy, kill, and completely wipe out the army of any state or people who attack them including their women and children. They may also take by force the property of their enemies. The one day set for the Jews to do this in all the provinces of King Xerxes was the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar. A copy of the king’s order was to be sent out as a law in every state. It was to be made known to the people of every nation living in the kingdom so the Jews would be ready on that set day to strike back at, avenge themselves on their enemies. The messengers hurried out, riding on the royal horses, urged on by the king’s command. And the order was also given in the palace at Susa. Mordecai left the king’s presence wearing royal clothes of blue and white and a large gold crown. He also had a purple robe made of the best linen. And the people of Susa shouted for joy. It was a time of happiness, light, joy, gladness, and honor for the Jews. As the king’s order went to every state and city, there was joy and gladness among the Jews. In every state and city to which the king’s order went, they were having feasts and celebrating. And many people through all the empire became Jews because they were afraid of the Jews.” Esther 8:10-17. Mordecai became what God wanted and did what God desired. Prayer Request Click here
