A BETTER TOMORROW

In every situation and occasion you will ever be exposed to in life, if you are confronted with comparative options, never desire your yesterday's blessings despite the glory and recognition they brought to you. Greater things and better days are ahead for you. God took you past that period in time so He can bring you into a brighter and a better future. The very best of yesterday is definitely obsolete today and those who held on to its glory are finding it difficult to understand how soon such things become irrelevant today. Likewise the very best of today is in the brink of becoming obsolete with all its glory. Please never compare your now, and your yesterday, to what God is going to do in your life tomorrow. In the eyes of our God, tomorrow is a day for your expected change despite the painful huddles you are struggling to overcome now and today.

No one remembers the good old days except the present is far below expectation and hope is fast fading away in their dreams and visions. But despite what is happening right now to you dear faithful children of God, God's desire for you is not changed. He desires to take you from one glory to another, from one level of grace to a higher level of grace everyday, from one blessing to another, to keep and to preserve you every time till the very day you will see and experience His abundance on earth with greater joy.

Job was a blessing in all things before Satan set in to devastate everything he had ever worked for and earned, including his family and business. In one of those days of his trouble, he remembered his past good days and said: “Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me; When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness; As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle; When the Almighty was yet with me, when my children were about me; When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil; When I went out to the gate through the city, when I prepared my seat in the street. The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the aged arose, and stood up. The princes refrained talking, and laid their hand on their mouth. The nobles held their peace, and their tongue cleaved to the roof of their mouth. When the ear heard me, then it blessed me; and when the eye saw me, it gave witness to me: Job 29:2-11

He also talked about his services to others in the past, things he could not do because of his trouble, he said “Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him. The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy. I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment was as a robe and a diadem. I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame. I was a father to the poor: and the cause which I knew not I searched out. And I brake the jaws of the wicked, and plucked the spoil out of his teeth.” Job 29:12-17

His also talked about his assumptions of things to come because of the goods he was enjoying then: “Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply my days as the sand. My root was spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch. My glory was fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand. Unto me men gave ear, and waited, and kept silence at my counsel. After my words they spake not again; and my speech dropped upon them. And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide as for the latter rain. If I laughed on them, they believed it not; and the light of my countenance they cast not down. I chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one that comforteth the mourners.” Job 29:12-25

But despite all these, the Bible confirmed. “So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning” Job 42:12. Your tomorrow will definitely be better than your former days as it was for Job. For prayers and encouragement, someone is here to pray with you. Click here
