The Most High God will give you the joy He had promised because He is with you and you are in Him. He is ordering your steps and guiding you every day. He is preserving you for His own glory alone not you trying to preserve yourself for Him; He is keeping you for a purpose that will be revealed soon not you keeping yourself for anything else; He is leading you along the right path despite your mistakes, you are not leading yourself. Your God had not stopped perfecting His love, plans and purposes in your life and you are not ignorant of that fact.

Though your desires may seem miles away each passing day, God is still leading you to that place where you will surely lay your hands on them one day. Your dreams may seem too big for you to really understand and very complicated to be fully accomplished by your thoughts, but the God who gave you the dreams will help you fulfill them in His time and by His strength.

Following your vision may have been tough, may have been the reason you stumble, God had allowed that to happen for a reason, He will definitely restore you back on track and help you stand up again with joy and continue the race. You may look like a fool before men because of the results you see in certain areas of your life; certainly, your result may be poor for now, but you are not ignorant of what you intend to do and where you are going in life through Christ Jesus.

Though you are not where your visions wants you to be, where your dreams should have taken you to, where your educational and vocational training should have placed you in life, the fact that your feet and your heart are set on attaining the very best as destined by your Father in heaven, with the very best assurance from Christ Jesus our Lord, that destination is certain and you will make it there irrespective of the activities of the devil against you.

“Oh, I know, I have been rash to talk out plainly this way to God. I will in my thinking stand upon my post of observation and station myself on the tower or fortress, and will watch to see what He will say within me and what answer I will make as His mouthpiece to the perplexities of my complaint against Him. And the Lord answered me and said write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may be able to read it easily and quickly as he hastens by. For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end fulfillment; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait earnestly for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day. Look at the proud; his soul is not straight or right within him, but the rigidly just and the uncompromisingly righteous man shall live by his faith and in his faithfulness.” Habakkuk 2:1-4

Despite the many years of delays in the life of Abraham and Sarah, all that God promised them were completely fulfilled, none was changed; none was thought to be not necessary for their age. That same God is walking with you, looking after you, leading you to that appointed time and that appointed place where He alone will begin the final implementation of His words. None of His promises had changed, none is deemed unnecessary, and none will be unfitting for you to see, to experience and to enjoy despite your age, situation and location now and then.

Even after forty days and counting to forty years, God did not change His mind on the promise to lead the children of Israel to the Promised Land. Despite the thirst and the hunger on the way, despite the distance and the snake on the way, despite the complains and the challenges by others, despite the fighting and the denials by people on their way, despite the Red Sea and the wilderness, God did not change His mind. He took them by His own strength to the very place He had promised. Did you know that as long as you hold on to the promises, God will surely fulfill all of them as He had said?
