PREPARE FOR THE BEST

“The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to all men” Ecclesiastes 9:11

Every new day comes with great opportunities. To some it is a day of renewal of hope and dreams; to others, a day of specific expectations to see the manifold blessings of God in the land of the living.

To some, it is a day of seed planting and to some, a day of harvesting fruits of previous seeds.   To some, it is a day of planning and to some, a day of implementing plans.  To some, it is a day for celebration and to some, a day to refrain from celebrating.  To some, it is a day of conception and to some; it is a day of giving birth.  To some it is a day of sweet memories of past blessings, and to some a day of bitter memories.  But you, embrace today with the joy of your Lord.

God has given you today for a purpose. There is no mistake in Him and there will never be any.

This is the day you have been waiting for; God can affect your life today that you have a complete turnaround for good the rest of your life.

Fix you heart on God not on your strength, skill, understanding and wisdom, fix your heart on God not on the circumstances and your feelings.  Fix your heart on our unchanging God who alone changes all things and is willing to change them for your sake.

“But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2Peter 3:8-9

The race for success in life is not for the swift alone because swiftness does fails. It is not for the strong alone because strength also does fail, it is not for the wise alone because wisdom does fail, and it is not for those with understanding alone because that also does fail, it is not for the skilled alone because skills does fail, but it is for those with or without these great attributes, also have the living God as their guide and support and are prepared by Him to inherit the promises.

It is good to be swift, to be strong, to be wise, to have understanding and to have skills, but without God this good attributes will not yield its appropriate fruits at the appropriate time. I have seen people with these great attributes still within the rank of failures in many aspects of life. You must not be or remain in this rank. “The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and adds no sorrow with it” Proverbs 10:22

“But those who wait on the Lord, shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”Isaiah 40:31

This is a new day to access yourself, your motives, your actions and your expectations, and to remind God of your dedication and trust in His ability to grant you the joy of His salvation.  When all things fail, God will not fail. He will prove himself in you.

Be prepared for something new today, because, time and chance happen to all men and you must not miss the very best of it.
