The effect of suffering for a long period of time; having an undue disappointments, a prolonged period of failure and an unending feelings of discouragement; lack of success despite hard and consistent labor, lack of breakthrough despite faithfulness and humility is huge in the hearts and minds of men irrespective of their location and religion; the effect of hunger, loneliness, hatred, long sickness, shame and prolonged abuse, the effect of the lack of a happy home, fulfilling job, marriage, love, care, and joy normally takes its tool in the lives of men in such ways that make them feel completely lost in the society and in the world, lost in their own bodies and lost in the good things to come from the Lord; it makes people feel inadequate where they are, ill prepared and unqualified when they are well equipped and qualified, it makes them feel cheated and hated, it makes them feel rejected by men and the society even when God had accepted them; it makes feel dirty and unsed even when God had washed them clean through the blood of Jesus Christ and given them the Holy Spirit through the power of His justication and restoration. When evil or sin or mistakes takes its full course in the life of a man, it leaves a mark to keep reminding them always of itself, but God is doing a new thing and He will complete it through the power of His forgiveness, mercies, and complete restoration that He had promised.

God is giving you a new heart to experience new things that He is doing in your life; He is giving you a new heart and a new mind to appreciate Him again as before, to appreciate His words, His love, His promises, His miracles, and His presence as it was in the beginning; God is giving you a new heart to begin appreciating the good things happening in your life and around you, He wants you to know and to appreciate what He is doing. In one of His parables, Jesus Christ said, old wine and new wine cannot coexist in the same wineskin, and a new garment cannot be used to patch an old garment. The old must be taken away so the new can be appreciated and preserved. You cannot continue in the old if God wants you to appreciate the new, you deserve a new heart and a restored mind. Not until the old is taken away, you will not appreciate the new; not until new things begin to happen, you will not appreciate the restoration God is giving to you. A new heart is good for your health, for your worship, for your services to God and to humanity. A new heart is necessary and it will come with new dreams, new visions, new determination, new hope, and new grace. God will not leave you in the old place of sorrow and suffering; He will not leave you in that loneliness, sickness, and pains, He will not leave you in that shame, He wants you to appreciate Him and appreciate His love and miracles in a new way. He is your God and He wants you to know that from and in your heart continuously.

“I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me? Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Son of man, your brothers, your relatives, your fellow exiles and the whole house of Israel, all of them, are those to whom the present inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, go far away from the Lord; this land has been given to us as a possession. Therefore say, thus says the Lord God, though I had removed Israel far away among the nations and though I had scattered them among the countries, yet I have been a sanctuary for them for a little while in the countries to which they had gone. Therefore say, thus says the Lord God, I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give back to you the land of Israel. When they return there, they will remove from it all traces of its detestable things and all its repulsive things, remnants of paganism. And I will give them one heart, a new heart, and put a new spirit within them. I will take from them the heart of stone, and will give them a heart of flesh that is responsive to My touch, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and do them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God.” Jeremiah 32:27; Ezekiel 11:14-20. For prayer Click here
