AT THE SAME PLACE SHE CRIED.

Your cries may have been very painful and frustratingly long, but the expected result of that same cry will surely come, it will be very memorable to tell and will be very sweet in the ears of all your hearers; your waiting time for a particular miracle may have been longer than expected when compared with others, but the reward of that long waiting will surely come in an excellent way such that you will thank God for giving you the grace to wait that long; what you see in your life and in your family may beat your wildest imagination, but God is never absent in the affairs of all His children irrespective of what they see, what they experience and what the devil is doing against their desires, dreams and visions.

May I declare to you that every moment of the day, God is watching every step you will ever take, every cry you will ever cry, every word you will ever speak, and every action you will ever take in life irrespective of the prevailing circumstances before you. Because He is watching you, and because you are submissive to Him, He will lead you to places He had before now destined to honor you; He will take you to places He had destined to glorify His name through you; He will take you to places He had destined to bless your life without people rushing to contend and contest the blessing.

The situation in the life of Elkanah and Hannah were known by God; the childlessness of Hannah was unacceptable by God, but He allowed it to be so temporally and kept her through that situation despite the humiliations, the pains and the insults she received from her colleague and her step children at home. The bitterness and cries of Hannah were all noted by God; her heart, thoughts, words and her steps were ordered by God on where to go, what to say and what to do.

When God orders you heart, you will never give place in it for evil to take root; when God orders your thoughts, the deceits of the devil will easily be detected and flushed out; when God orders your words, it will become a blessing to yourself and to people at all times irrespective of the provocation: when God orders your steps, you will never miss the place of your destiny even when you make several mistakes in life. God is still in the business of leading His own children to their places of destiny and honor in this very over and ever competitive world.

In the same city and temple that Hannah went in her bitterness to pray to God and cry her heart out for a child, before the same high priest (Eli) who attended to her and mistake her for a drunk while crying in the temple, and in the same place she made her vow of surrendering the child she will born, God answered her and gave her Samuel; but far beyond that experience, God chooses the same Samuel Hannah cried for as the next person to succeed the same Eli as the very next high priest in the same temple.

Your cries will never be in vain, your wait will be rewarded, and your joy will be fully restored and made to remain forever. What is it in your life, in the life of your spouse, in the lives of your children, and in the lives of people close to you that you have been crying to God for over the years? Just like Hannah returned to that same place to testify of the goodness of the Lord to her when He answered her prayers, you will also testify in Jesus name. This was her testimony:

“Now when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bulls, one ephah of flour, and a skin of wine, and brought him to the house of the Lord in Shiloh. And the child was young. Then they slaughtered a bull, and brought the child to Eli. And she said, O my lord. As your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood by you here, praying to the Lord. For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him. Therefore I also have lent him to the Lord; as long as he lives he shall be lent to the Lord.” So they worshiped the Lord there.” 1 Samuel 1:24-28. For prayers, Click here
