CONFIDENCE AND SUCCESS

The road to success in everything will always require a certain level of confidence in yourself and in what you are doing, but in these days of unholy confrontations and trial, this is hard to achieve. Confidence is not having absolute knowledge in what you are doing, but your ability to trust the little steps you take each day towards your goal and your willingness to submit yourself to improvement on those little steps. In many cases, the difference between success and failure is in your level of confidence and your willingness to persevere a little longer.

Nothings that is exceptionally good, lasting, that will lift you up another level in life and worthy of praise to the Living God will ever come cheap and easy irrespective of its size. The road to greatness and success, to your dreams and desires, and the fulfillment of the good plans and purposes of God for your life will never be cheap and easy but with God you are well qualified, capable and well able to walk through to them. The devil will always challenge every promise of God for your life. He will certainly question you, he will seriously intimidate you, he will deploy all methods to frustrate you, and he will do all he can to stop you. But when you have confidence in God and in His promised word, God will answer the questions for you, He will give you boldness in every intimidation, He will give you grace to stand and move on at every point of frustration and He will help you. Remember, the same day Christ was baptized, the Holy Ghost came on Him, a voice was heard from heaven, and He was taken to the wilderness to be tempted by the devil, but Christ was successful thereafter. You will also succeed

There are two options in life for every desire you will ever have, quit or persevere, and they are good reasons to give for each. Quit because it is tough, you are facing insurmountable and deadly challenges, you are being blackmailed and spoken ill of and look down on; quit because each new day is becoming more difficult than yesterday and the frustration is becoming more painful. That is what the devil will always say to you, but God is urging you to persevere a little longer, to have confidence in Him. He is asking you never to quit on any of His promises to you. What you cannot do He can do. It takes confidence to keep praying, to keep walking in faith, to remain calm and cheerful, to laugh when others want you to cry and to do good when others do you harm. It takes confidence to be a successful Christian.

It takes a period of time to build confidence and it will also require some period of time through test and confrontations to be proved. But irrespective of the period, the confrontation, the test, the humiliation, and the intimidation, hold your confidence in your God, in your prayers, and in the promises of God for you. God can and will prove Himself if you will persevere a little longer. “Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised. For still a little while (a very little while), and the Coming One will come and He will not delay” Hebrews 10:35-37

God has plans for you that require confidence; “Remember dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you. Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. God chose things despised by the world; things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God. God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin. Therefore, as the Scriptures say, if you want to boast, boast only about the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:25-31 For prayer Click here
