"THE SPECTACLE AT THE RED SEA (3)"

The armies of Pharaoh, his weapons of war, the chariots, the horses and the blockade by the Red Sea that the children of Israel saw did not deter God from doing what He had planned for them, it did not stop God from doing what He wanted at that moment and did not prevent Him from what He had desired to do for them and against Pharaoh. Whatever you are seeing in your afflictions by the devil in any way will not prevent God from doing His will for your life and will not stop His plans for you from being fulfilled. God is still acting on behalf of the righteous irrespective of their locations, afflictions, shame, and condemnation by men. We are told in scriptures that God will definitely defend His people; He will definitely deliver His children from every attack, deliver them from everything seeking to destroy or take them captive and He will restore their joy by His actions. We have these promises in Isaiah 54:15-17 and 1 Corinthians 10:13 “If anyone fiercely attacks you it will not be from Me, whoever attacks you will fall because of you. Listen carefully, I have created the smith who blows on the fire of coals and who produces a weapon for its purpose, and I have created the destroyer to inflict ruin. No weapon that is formed against you will succeed, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition are the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from Me says the Lord. No temptation regardless of its source has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience nor is any temptation unusual beyond human resistance; but God is faithful to His word, compassionate and trustworthy, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability to resist, but along with the temptation He has in the past and is now and will always provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy”

Despite their fears of what will happen as they were being pursued by Pharaoh’s commanders, horses, chariots and other weapons even through the parted Red Sea, they saw the power of the Almighty in action in their favor, they saw the result of the power of God working instantly, they saw that God does not fight battles with physical things as men do and they saw what God can and will do when you are obedient to His words and commands. I trust that irrespective of what you have seen before, you will see something new, you will see God fighting your battle, you see God lifting His hands on your behalf and you will testify that it is good to walk in obedience to His words despite the none existing odds we think when we obey His words. When you walk in obedience to God’s words, you will see His plans unfolding in an amazing way, you will see His power in ways that are beyond imaginations and explanations, and you will definitely see your joy restored fully and your blessings flourishing with praise.

At the Red Sea, the children of Isreal saw Pharaoh became powerless instantly despite still being in authority, armed and powerful. At the red sea, they saw the supremacy of the Almighty God taking control over the thoughts, the decisions, and the authority of men despite their position, wealth and powers. The red sea was the place of Pharaoh’s final surrender and acceptance of God’s plans for the children of Israel. It was a place of his humiliation, a place that he couldn’t take further decision, a place he was proven wrong and incapable to stand against the Almighty God, a place he could not do anything again to prevent or stop the children of Israel. “I am the Lord, and there is no one else; there is no God except Me. I will embrace and arm you, though you have not known Me, that people may know from the rising to the setting of the sun the world over that there is no one except Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other, the One forming light and creating darkness, causing peace and creating disaster; I am the Lord who does all these things.” Isaiah 45:5-7. For prayers Click here
