YES LORD I WILL

People are compelled by what they see, read, hear and know to develop the kind of worries that affects their health and reasoning in life. Worries do not come because of what had passed, but it is because of what will be in the immediate future as a result of certain past or present action or inaction and other odd situations. Many people are worried because of the knowledge they have on certain issues and very few are worried because of what they do not know. Worries of any magnitude and in any situation are nothing else but practically exercising fear on that situation. But God expects you to have a sound mind in everything. 2 Timothy 1:7

Dwelling in worries creates confusion and anxiety and does not make the situation and better. While going before God in prayers at all times and in all things, leave your worries behind, leave your fears behind, leave your doubts and uncertainty behind, and leave your confusion behind. Handle what you can handle by your ability and the grace given to you by God, and please leave the impossibilities for God to work it out for you. Worries kill quicker than the actual problem or sickness. Fortunately, there are medications to cure or reduce the effect of all ailments, but there are no medications to cure or reduce the effect of being engrossed in endless worries. If you can device the means of taking care of your worries and fears adequately, then you will definitely overcome the problem and the sickness that comes on you. God wants your victory not worries.

Leave the impossibilities to God to deal with, do what is possible and right, and refuse to try to figure out how, and what God will do thereafter. He is the God of all impossibilities and the God who will always fulfill all of His words irrespective of the situations at hand and your worries. When Jehoshaphat heard of the preparation to invade his country, he was worried, but when he prayed, he laid his worries and concerns before God and left with these words:  Be not afraid, be not dismayed, the battle is not yours; you do not need to fight, stand still and you will see the salvation of the Lord. Those were the commander’s words, Jehoshaphat believed it, and God took care of the impossibility to confirm His words.

Just as Jehoshaphat received the assurance in his worries and confusion, accepted to act on it and had his peace completely intact, God also acted accordingly in response. That same God is ready to act in response to our prayer today. This is the word of our faithful High priest Jesus Christ to you, He who gave His life for our peace and freedom: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, what shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or what shall we wear? For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Casting the whole of your care, all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.” Matthew 6:25-34, 1 Peter 5:7

Take your anxieties and worries to Him, Jehoshaphat did and God responded; will you do the same? “God is not a man, that he should lie” Number 23:19. Send your prayer request Click here
