“THE GOD WHO WILL HONOR HIS COVENANT”

Post date: Sep 7, 2017 11:35:02 PM

God will never break His covenant for any reason rather He will fulfill all of them according to His words and purpose. Has He spoken, expect Him to fulfill what He said; has He saved your soul, expect him to keep your body which carries the soul; has He called you, expect Him to use you for His purpose; has He given you a home and bond you to spouse in marriage, then expect Him to bless that home and that marriage; has He given you anything in life, then expect Him to preserve that which He had given to you and prevent it from being destroyed. God is a covenant maker and a covenant keeper. The perfection of God cannot be questioned and all of His words to us will never remain idle or void or return to Him without accomplishing that which He intended to do and destined to happen. His covenants are not wishes, they are not ideas but words spoken and sealed with an oath by God personally and they are preserved to the time of their fulfillment by the blood of the everlasting covenant, the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on the Cross for the redemption human beings on earth.

Absolutely nothing can destroy the covenant made by God but everything might want to happen to you so that the covenant He had given to you will not be fulfilled in and through you. I want you to know that there are things that want to destroy you because of the covenant you were given by God and deciding to walk with Him even in all of your weaknesses will ensure that God will not allow your destruction because of that covenant. Time, delays and age will want to discourage you, known and unknown hindrances will want to discourage you; injustice will want to also discourage you, prolonged sickness and ill health will want to discourage you; lack of the basic things you need in life will want to discourage you; humiliations and shame and failure will want to discourage you; physical and spiritual that is not going right for you will want to discourage you; principalities and powers, authorities in dominion, rulers of darkness and wickedness in high places will want to discourage you, but we have this assurance; our God is not ignorant of their plans, their desires and their devices against us, He will definitely give us the victory we rightly deserved for being His children. “Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, on that very same day, it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. It is a night of solemn observance to the Lord for bringing them out of the land of Egypt. This is that night of the Lord, a solemn observance for all the children of Israel throughout their generations. Brethren, I speak in the manner of men: Though it is only a man’s covenant, yet if it is confirmed, no one annuls or adds to it. Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, and to seeds, as of many, but as of one, and to your Seed, who is Christ. And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect. For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise.”  Exodus 12:40-42Galatians 3:15-18

There is covenant presently over your life, a precious covenant of love and of power, a covenant that Satan hates to see and wants to destroy; a covenant that is sealed with the blood of Jesus Christ and made effective through your salvation; a covenant that will change your life and change the lives of others around you; a covenant that speaks better things than other covenants existing or had existed; a covenant that will not idle or killed. There is a covenant over your life more meaningful than your present suffering and pains. God gave Abraham a covenant and the passage of time and the afflictions from the Egyptians was unable to stop the covenant from being fulfilled. Nothing will stop yours. Satan never knew Job was in covenant with God, he did all he could to destroy him, but God preserved and restored him. For Prayers, Click here
