DO IT WELL, DON’T BE DISCOURAGED (1)

Giving up is the greatest setback you will ever face not your mistakes or discouragement. Don’t give up when you are discouraged, offended, when pain increases, when afflictions linger, and when delays are not lifted, when promises fail and when others give up. God is still on the throne doing wonders and blessings people; He is still on the throne saving souls, delivering the afflicted, and making ways for people. He will make a way for you. Do not give up seeking to please Him by obeying and following His words. He who promises will do it, He who made you will bless you, He who watches over you will not leave you, He will show mercy, He will fulfill what He had promised and He will give you everything He had destined for you.

“But do not forget one thing, my dear friends. There is no difference in the Lord's sight between one day and a thousand years, to Him the two are the same. The Lord is not slow to do what He has promised, as some think. Instead, He is patient with you, because He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants all to turn away from their sins. But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief. On that day the heavens will disappear with a shrill noise, the heavenly bodies will burn up and be destroyed, and the earth with everything in it will vanish. Since all these things will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people should you be? Your lives should be holy and dedicated to God, as you wait for the Day of God and do your best to make it come soon, the Day when the heavens will burn up and be destroyed, and the heavenly bodies will be melted by the heat. But we wait for what God has promised; new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness will be at home. And so, my friends, as you wait for that day, do your best to be pure and faultless in God's sight and to be at peace with Him. Look on our Lord's patience as the opportunity He is giving you to be saved, just as our dear friend Paul wrote to you, using the wisdom that God gave him.” 2 Peter 3:8-15.

Do your very best at all times to please God in deeds and in words and to remain pleasing to Him, continue in His words and in prayers; follow and obey His commands in the scriptures; worship Him voluntarily with all you have; read and meditate on His words daily; be dedicated to good deeds to all people despite what others may do and say to you; follow the direction of His words; in all situations, remember His promises to you and remind Him always of those promises. Do not let any form of affliction, rejection, lack, shame turn you away from believing, trusting and following Him; do not be discouraged by the things you see, hear and experience, your day before His throne is coming soon and you will not be disappointed. His love for you is forever, and His faithfulness in keeping His word and promises are unchangeable and forever. You will see His blessings in your life, you will see hope manifesting with power, and you will see dreams and godly desires come alive in ways that men or afflictions will not be able to stop.

Live in obedience to His words, and follow His instructions. Despite all the afflictions in his life, Job saw the mercies of God, he saw the faithfulness of God, he saw God restring him, restoring his health, and restoring his blessings. Job lived to see God’s unstoppable faithfulness and joy. He saw God restoring sevenfold all that Satan had previously destroyed. His confidence in God, in His words, in His work, and in promises were all restored. “After Job had prayed for his three friends, the Lord made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had had before. All Job's brothers and sisters and former friends came to visit him and feasted with him in his house. They expressed their sympathy and comforted him for all the troubles the Lord had brought on him. Each of them gave him some money and a gold ring. The Lord blessed the last part of Job's life even more than He had blessed the first. Job lived a hundred and forty years after this, long enough to see his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. And then he died at a very great age.” Job 42:10-16. For prayers, Click here
