“For this is what the Lord says, He who created the heavens, He is God; He who fashioned and made the earth, He founded it; He did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited, He says, I am the Lord, and there is no other. I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob’s descendants, seek me in vain. I, the Lord speak the truth; I declare what is right. Remember this, keep it in mind, take it to heart, you rebels. Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.” Isaiah 45:18-19; 46:8-10

God has His testimonies in His words and there are many who have seen the, received them, and acknowledge them. The words of the Lord are reliable irrespective of the situation and whatever Satan may do or say; they are powerful and cannot be changed, they capable to create whatever they sent to create, and they can recreate whatever had been destroyed; they can make and they can destroy; they can open and they can also close. The testimonies of the Lord our God can be in His creations right from the beginning when there was nothing and He created all things by the power of His word as He intended them to be and they were and are so to this day. The entire Scripture is God's personal testimonies about Himself and His works. They are His own revelation to us, His own promises, and His own power. They are God’s revelation of Himself to men. They reveal all the truth about God to enable us to know Him and be secured in our trust and dependence on Him. The revelation of God's testimony is that they are reliable, trustworthy, and able to bring us whatever we need if we believe and completely trust.

The testimonies of the Lord we trust will reproduce itself in us; the testimonies of the Lord we keep in our hearts and meditate on daily will come to pass and be fulfilled in our lives physically. The testimonies of the Lord we believe will transform us, transform our situations, and transform whatever that concerns us for the best. God’s words irrespective of the time and season are for you, His promises irrespective of the situation are for you; His blessings irrespective of the delays and actions of the wicked are for you, and the future it promises are for you and God will keep you to see and have them. God’s testimonies make us wise in all things. His testimonies bring us help and comfort at all times and in our moments of decision. His testimonies help us to remain steadfast, hopeful, and faithfulness. His testimonies give us assurance and peace that is beyond our daily experiences. The testimony of the Lord is sure comforting the soul.

Mary, Martha and their friends and the entire town of Bethany saw the testimony of God when Jesus Christ went to visit. Though Christ knew Lazarus was dead, He did not go there to mourn with them but to show them God's testimony. When Lazarus died, the sisters who had believed and loved and were true followers of Jesus Christ lost hope of ever seeing their brother again in this life. Through the words of God in the scriptures, they believed in the resurrection of the dead but only on the last day, and trusted they will only see Lazarus again in heaven. When Christ came visiting, despite their thoughts, words, and actions, despite the burial and the rights offered to their dead brother, Jesus Christ prayed with thanksgiving to God for the testimony He was about to reveal to them, and thereafter He called on Lazarus from the grave to come out and back to physical life to the amazement of the two sisters and the people who had come to mourn with them. God can turn your life around, He can turn your disappointments and sadness around, He can give you a big celebration even in times of fears and uncertainties, in all situation, irrespective of how bad and how long they had been, The Almighty God, the creator of all things, He definitely has the final say concerning you. Your past will not hinder Him if you truly ask for forgiveness with all your heart and a promise to not continue in sins or wickedness. For prayers, Click here
