“GIVE ME SOMETHING NEW FROM NOW OH LORD (10)”

Post date: Jun 21, 2019 3:43:36 AM

Some situations have refused to change despite all that had been done by you and others around you for you to have a change; some situations are still speaking negative things concerning your life now and your future; some people are saying you will never change, your situation will never change, your life can never be any better, your hope in a miracle or in God will not change the life you have now and some people are bent on seeing you in your bad state, but in Christ, in His love, and in His power, the situation will change, you will see it and experience it, the people will see it and will not have anything to say to change it. This blind man, this beggar, this man who had no hope before had a changed experienced people never expected him to have; he saw his own eyes restored, he saw his sight restored, he saw the power of God in Christ Jesus, he saw something he never requested and people never thought could happen to him, he saw what it means to have something new and he celebrated it openly.

He told the people who were asking, who were wondering and who never expected it and who were still questioning him; it is I not someone else, I am the one, the same person, you knew and saw in the corner of the street begging yesterday; you saw me yesterday begging for arms, you saw me sitting at the roadside expecting to receive some leftovers from you, you saw me as a man without hope before, without a future before, without the necessary help that changes things around me, and you saw me and knew me as a man without any assurance of a change for the best yesterday. But now all things are new, my life is renewed, my hope is renewed, my sights are restored and I can see clearly, my life is changed for the very best since I was born. I am the one you are referring to in your speech, but I am changed, I have been changed, my life is now changed, my situation had changed, my position has changed, my location had changed, and my nickname had changed. Stop referring to me as the man of yesterday, I have received a miracle and help that no one can give but God alone and He has done it.

“Then they brought the man who was formerly blind to the Pharisees. Now it was on a Sabbath day that Jesus made the mud and opened the man’s eyes. So the Pharisees asked him again how he received his sight. And he said to them, He smeared mud on my eyes, and I washed, and now I see. Then some of the Pharisees said, this Man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath. But others said, how can a man who is a sinner do such signs and miracles? So there was a difference of opinion among them. Accordingly, they said to the blind man again, what do you say about Him, since He opened your eyes? He said it must be that He is a prophet. However, the Jews did not believe that he had been blind and had received his sight until they called the man’s parents. They asked them, is this your son, who you say was born blind? How does he now see? His parents answered, we know that this is our son and that he was born blind; but as to how he now sees, we do not know; or who has opened his eyes, we do not know, ask him and stop asking us, he is of age, he will speak for himself and give his own account. He is of age; ask him. So a second time they called the man who had been born blind and said give God glory and praise for your sight. We know this Man is a sinner. Then he answered, I do not know whether He is a sinner; but one thing I do know, though I was blind, now I see. So they said to him, what did He actually do to you? How did He open your eyes? He answered, I already told you and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again and again? Do you want to become His disciples, too? And they stormed at him and jeered, you are His disciple, but we are disciples of Moses. We know that God has spoken to Moses, but as for this Man, we do not know where He is from. The man replied, this is astonishing, you do not know where He comes from, and yet He opened my eyes. We know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone fears God and does His will, He hears him.” John 9:13-31. Prayer Request Click here
