"WHAT SHOULD I REMEMBER NOW DEAR LORD?"

Post date: Apr 27, 2017 11:25:27 PM

The things you remember are very important; they can shape your day in any direction; they can keep you joyful or sad all day and all year; they can keep you motivated or discouraged; they can render you ineffective and fearful; they can bring you better insights into the future or gives you bad reasons to regret your future; they can take your hope from you, or they can keep you hopeful in your next projects; they can make you desire living many years or desire to die right now; they can make you amplify your chances of success or speak ill of your chances; they can make you feel rejected or feel accepted; they make you take up arms in anger or seek God’s forgiveness in love; they can make you fall sick instantly or get well instantly; they can make you curse the day you were born, the place of your birth, your parents, curse your children, curse your spouse, and place a curse on yourself and your profession, and they can make you rejoice for the day you were born, for the place of your birth, rejoice for your parents, for your children, for your spouse and for your profession. What you remember can make you curse your life or place a blessing on yourself and your profession and on your family. God wants you to remember all that is good in His word for your life; that which will encourage you beyond this level, what which will elevate you to higher grounds and that which will keep hopeful for better days and better things.

You will not be detached from God when you keep reminding yourself of His love that brought you to the grace of receiving His salvation. The most important thing in your life is that salvation from the Almighty God and He will do everything possible to keep you saved, safe, and relevant until you inherit the promises that accompany Salvation; God will never do anything that will destroy the salvation He gave to you; He will never neglect you because of the salvation; He will not forget you because of His joy in your salvation; He will not allow anything that will destroy you because of His seed and grace in you; He will not allow you at any moment, in any way or at any time to regret that you were saved by His grace. Salvation preserves and protects; guides and guards; leads and directs, and give peace even in times and moments of discomfort and sorrows. The devil wants you to forget that you were saved by God for a purpose and you are living today for that same purpose; he wants you to forget that your sins were fully atoned for on the Cross at Calvary; he wants you to forget that you have a merciful and faithful God who is preserving you; he wants you to remember the pains and sorrows he is causing every time; he wants you to keep your mind and heart focused on what he is doing to frustrate, discourage, punish, disappoint and cause loneliness and shame. The devil wants you to see the bleak side of life, to remember the painful past, and takes your thought from things that bring joy, peace, and wellness to your life. In doing a new thing, God reverses the works of the devil in your life; takes the afflictions of pains away for good; gives you that which He had designed, desire and destined for you. He will take you from where the devil had kept you to where He had destined and planned and there He will cause you to multiply. Nothing will separate you from His love if you will keep reminding yourself every day and every time of His amazing love and the power thereof.

“Can anything separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? As the Scriptures say, for your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep. No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow, not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below, indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35-39.
