POWER BELONGS TO GOD

“Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord who makes the storm clouds. He gives showers of rain to men and plants of the field to everyone. The idols speak deceit, diviners see visions that are lie, they tell dreams that are false, they give comfort in vain. Therefore the people wander like sheep oppressed for lack of Shepherd”. Excuses are human and not divine. When you specialize in excuses, you will definitely miss even the very best of chances in life to grow and achieve your dreams. When you stop echoing the lies of the devil against you, you will begin to hear the truth of God concerning your life.

One of the disadvantages in life we all experience is that the devil speaks the loudest in every occasion. God speaks once and Holy Ghost repeats it to our hearing as often as we might desire. The option is yours to pick and the decision is yours to make right now.     

God will never give any excuse for making, saving and calling you out of any form of sin. The very best you will ever become is in the hands of God and never in the hands of the devil or any man. When God brings a man in your life or way, it is to help you reach His goal and not to stop you.

Today, I want you to retake your life from the cliff of despair, your vision from closed doors, your dream for joy and your drive for success and greatness from where you have left them. You can make today your day, and this time your time for upward movement to the mark of God’s grace and blessing in your life. David said “. Unfailing love, O Lord is yours. Surely you repay all people according to what they have done. Psalm 62:11-12 (NIV)

You need to learn to forget the lies of the devil and begin believing the words of God and building up your faith through renewing your mind and hearing and hearing again the only word of God to you. The word of God is lively and very effective in every situation in every location. When you magnify it above the lies of the devil despite the circumstances you are facing, it will also magnify you above those situations.

The word for you today is; ask what you want, ask for rain even in odd seasons; don’t let the prevailing season and situation frighten you. When the situation prevents you, it will overcome you. When it dictates your dream, it will also dictate your mission and affect your results. God said ask. The law of the universe is only binding to man not to God. It can hinder you but cannot hinder God, and that God that cannot be hindered is asking you to ask.

When we ask, God takes over, blessing us above what we ask by giving us great results, flashing clouds, showers of rain and grass in our field to change all situations and contrary imaginations.

When God steps into your live through your permission and consistency in asking and working with Him, then contrary words from contrary sources which you have been suffering from becomes mere deceits. Diviners of evil schemes and their evil visions turn to a lie and unholy and uncoordinated wondering in life becomes a thing of the past.    

Christ has spoken about your life before you were born, about your success before you get here, about your deliverance before you are afflicted and about your joy before sadness comes in and the devil cannot stop that. “God has spoken plainly, and I have heard it many times; power, O God, belongs to you” Psalm 62:11. The magnitude of God’s power and love is unimaginable and unstoppable, it renews, empowers and restores.
