MIGHTY THROUGH GOD

“Then the angel who talked with me returned and woke me up, like someone awakened from sleep. He asked me, what do you see? I answered; I see a solid gold lampstand with a bowl at the top and seven lamps on it, with seven channels to the lamps. Also there are two olive trees by it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left. I asked the angel who talked with me, what are these, my lord? He answered; do you not know what these are? No, my lord, I replied. So he said to me, this is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty. What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of ‘God bless it! God bless it. Then the word of the Lord came to me: The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel?” Zechariah 4:1-10

That is the end word of a committed, sincere and faithful Christian who walks alongside the Almighty God through the principles of Jesus Christ as his or her only lord and savior. For such a person, time will never stop that from happening, people will never derail such divine program from being fulfilled, delays, frustrations, loneliness, lack and wickedness from the devil will be a shadow that will never stop you from stepping up higher and higher in your life.

Being mighty through God is Him walking things out for you while you patiently and prayerfully wait on Him and hold your peace in the process. It is God going before you to prepare the place of your manifestation for you and taking you there through grace, mercy and His might. The devil will never, and will not fold his hands and see the children of God progress, but despite whatever he will do, in all things that God is involved, the devil will always fail.

Being mighty through God is not by your own power, that of your wealth, or that of parents; but through His own power alone. That was what God did in the lives of Gideon, Joseph, Daniel, David, Peter and many others. That same God is taking you beyond what you been trained for in life, what you have been prepared for by your schooling and by your exposures in life. It is not by your wisdom and knowledge but through His wisdom and knowledge working in and through you to perfect what He had ordained for you. It is not by your special ability to connect easily with people, but by His ability to arrange and connect you people who do not know, people you have never met and people who will be willing to go the extra mile to help, bless and sustain you, thereby fulfilling God’s plans and purposes in your life.

God is not looking at what you are right now, He is not looking at your physical size or your many accomplishments in life; He is looking at what you will be after an encounter with Him. He took Matthew, a civil servant and turns him into a mighty disciple. God is not looking at what you are doing right now; He is looking at what you will do after an encounter with Him. He took Peter, a fisherman from the side of the river and transformed him into a pillar in the church and he became a mighty disciple. God is not looking at where you are right now; He is looking at where you will be after an encounter with Him. He took Joseph and Daniel from the prison and placed them as mighty men in a foreign nation.

No one goes to Him and remain stagnant in the same place, in the same profession and in the same location. No one goes to Him without inheriting a transforming grace, an enabling grace and blessings. It is proper to note that every encounter with God changes lives, changes location, changes dreams and changes destinies. Who and what will you attribute your next level of success in life to?
