HAVING CHALLENGES?

Every person had experienced one or more challenges in his or her life and will surely face another sooner or later in life. We may be different in desires and ways, but those redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ have a common belief and a common faith in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to guide us through each challenges successfully as they come. The differences in individual challenges does not mean they will produce different result. Every challenge we go through seek to produce the following, make us look like failures in our eyes and in that of others, reveal our insufficiency and weakness, bring us into shame, disrespect, rejected, disappointed and dejected. But despite the intent of the challenges, through God's grace and mercies, we can be very victorious in them all.

When challenges comes, we begin to cry instead of pray, we become fearful instead of trusting God, we look into the past with despair instead looking up into the future with hope an victory through Christ Jesus. Despite the reality of all challenges, we told to do the following rather than lamenting and weeping; “Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.” Hebrews 12:12-16. In times of challenges, be ready for a victory fight, a victory match and victory song.

The life challenges you are facing right now is meant to reveal the power of Christ Jesus in you. It will not kill or destroy you, rather, through them you will experience the hands and blessings of God as the children of Israel did in their time and days of challenges, and you will be recognized as they were, promoted as God intended and celebrated hereafter as God had willed for you. Your victory in times of challenges is secured by Christ Jesus, but you will have to follow the above principles to experience the victory in the physical.

Without the difficult challenges of darkness, there will be no need fro a light or a lamp; without the challenge of resting our tired bodies after a period of activity, there will be no need for sleep. Through the sustaining grace of God, your challenges will bring you to your very best moment in life to the surprise of those waiting to laugh at you.

Without the challenge of restlessness and increased labor against the children of Israel in the land of Egypt, they would not have cried to God for deliverance; the story of Moses would have ended when he ran away from physical justice; Moses would not have been chosen and prepared spiritually to face Pharaoh and declare the counsel of God to him openly. And the people of Israel would have remained in Egypt much longer.

Without the challenge of Goliath against the armies of Israel, the grace in a common sling, flung by a little unarmed boy in faith, David would not have been revealed to Israel at that moment, would not have been recognized and celebrated openly before King Saul and the people.

Irrespective of what may be on the way to challenge you, you have a divine and powerful commission from God to overcome them and move ahead to a more glorious achievement and praise in life. Remember, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13
