LORD, WILL I EVER SUCCEED?

Post date: Jan 21, 2015 4:58:18 AM

There are many people like you around the world asking that same question daily. The question cuts across all races, all professions, all languages, all genders, and all wealth brackets and in all locations. That shows the eagerness for success, the desire to be relevant, the desire for comfort and that of satisfaction. No one is ever happy and satisfied being a failure talk less of remaining a failure for a long period of time. Everyone dreams success and satisfaction but not everyone is assured of their expected level of success and satisfaction, but God in His unfailing words had promised even more than your best dreams and more than your best desires in live.

Questions like, will I ever succeed in my current job? Will I ever succeed in my current location and profession? Will I ever succeed in my marriage and in child upbringing? Will I ever succeed in my current business or in the one I am about to begin working at? Will I ever succeed in the profession I am about to start learning? Will I ever succeed in the country I am about to relocate to? Will I ever succeed in maintain a true, healthy, and God fearing relationship? Should I do these or should I do that to succeed? Questions like this nature are heard quite often and they are genuine and always very necessary; but it often leaves the mind with more trouble, confused and with excess fear to move forward.

In that same state of confusion, in that same state of uncertainty, fear and trouble, it is wise to do one thing, turn the fears over to Our Lord Jesus Christ, lay all at His feet, seek His wisdom, seek His guardian, be willing to diligently follow all of His instructions, and step on with faith in His ability to grant you the grace you need to succeed. God will definitely not be happy to see you fail and He will not wish you that either. Before that question comes up on your thoughts, He had done all that is absolutely needful and very necessary for your success, and I am very convinced that through Him, by Him, and through His unfailing grace, you will definitely succeed.

The answer to your question is an emphatic Yes, you will succeed. Through the salvation of your soul, He had liberated and separated you from the things that make people to fail though you have many companions having that same thoughts and feelings. You are definitely not alone, but you must refuse to let such feelings dominate your everyday thoughts, refuse to allow it reduce your passion for success, reduce your strength for action, captivate your visions and your desires for the very best in, and through Jesus Christ. Everyone has a certain amount of doubts in their minds, but not everyone is giving up easily to the powers of such doubts and not everyone is controlled by such doubtful mindset, I pray you will be that someone who is making a huge successful difference despite the questions. The feelings of becoming a failure in life has no power to make you a failure until you stop pursuing what will enable you to succeed, you stop following what God had destined you to do, and you stop what you know how to do very well.

Apostle Paul told Timothy never to give up when question comes up in his thoughts, but he should always remember that holy hands were laid on him to do Godly exploits and to succeed. “That is why I would remind you to stir up, rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning the gracious gift of God, the inner fire that is in you by means of the laying on of my hands with those of the elders at your ordination. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear, but He has given us a spirit of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. Do not blush or be ashamed then, to testify to and for our Lord, nor of me, a prisoner for His sake, but with me take your share of the suffering to which the preaching of the Gospel may expose you, and do it in the power of God.” 2 Timothy 1:6-8. I will want you to always remember that Christ Jesus had made away for you to succeed, and we are always praying for your succeed in the things that He had given you the grace to do.
