GREAT DREAMS, WHY THE DELAY?

Post date: Jul 21, 2014 4:01:57 AM

Because of the delays you have experienced, you may begin doubting your dreams in life and may be thinking of dumping them off your thoughts and getting them off your ways; hold it, God did not give you those dreams because you are smart and intelligent enough to fulfill them, He gave them to you because He is strong, intelligent and trusted enough to help you and to guide you to the expected point of success. Do not despise the God who gave you the dream who will also give you the grace, strength and the guardian needed to succeed. Do not despise your God when you experience delays and frustrations, do not despise His words and His commandments to remain faithful and holy to Him; do not despise the days or the nights, and do not despise the day and time of your small beginning.

I am very sure you know God has no intent that you become a failure in life irrespective of the prevailing situations you may be facing: I am sure you know God loves dearly despite all the unwelcome delays that had been giving you nightmares and discomfort: I am quite sure you are aware that Christ Jesus will never forsake you despite the many denials you experience in your desires to advance in life and in the things He had revealed to you. I am sure you know that God will definitely help you to succeed despite all the frustrations, the lack of genuine and consistent assistance to enable you stand up from where you are right now and make a move to where you should be and despite the lack of care from people around you.

God has no provision for you to continue in pains and afflictions, and in the things that will never glorify and advance His name and your lives on earth. Despite what is happening to your life right now, irrespective of your location, profession, language, gender and race, God had made adequate provision for your success; adequate provision for your ultimate deliverance from the shackles of death, shame and loneliness; adequate provision for the healing of your spirit, soul and body; God had made adequate provision for your complete restoration after years of endless wondering, nakedness, and abuse; God had made adequate provision for your labor and sacrifice to begin yielding the expected result, and nothings will stop it.

All acts of delays, frustration, denials, loneliness and sickness are not signs of punishment from God. God will not punish any of His children who truly rely on Him despite what they may be going through, and He will not allow them to suffer any punishment from any person or the devil indefinitely. God did not allow Job to suffer the shame of the loss of his business, of his children, and sickness on his body indefinitely in the hands of the devil and his friends. God did not allow Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth to suffer the shame of childlessness indefinitely. He did not allow Jabez to suffer the misfortune of his parents indefinitely, and God did not allow Joseph to suffer in the hands of his brothers, suffer in the house of Potiphar, and suffer in the prison of afflictions indefinitely.

Do not despise your free salvation and the indwelling of His Spirit in your life; do not despise praying and fellowship; do not despise your desires to follow Him and be faithful to Him. Every form of delays is temporal and will pass away but His words of promises to you will definitely remain. Do not despise your hope and trust in Him in what you have been expecting in your life, in that of your spouse, children and family, delays is never the final result of all your sacrifices. The God who made you will give you His result in your expectations.

There are many physical and spiritual reasons for delays in godly dreams, but none of the best reasons is strong enough to hinder your God. David said: “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that kept thee will not slumber. Behold, he that kept Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” Psalm 121:1-4. For prayers, Click here
