COMPLETELY CHANGED

“I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered” Psalms 40:1-5

Whether you will admit it or not; smart or not so smart, visionary of not, a believer or not, everyone will definitely receive a reward from the Almighty God irrespective of our activities. Your admittance or refusal of this fact will never change God’s mind about the reward but can affect your preparation and the type of reward you receive. There will never be any reward from any man that will ever equal the reward from God now and in eternity. Never be offended or feel disappointed by the kind of reward you receive from man not even family member. God will not give any man what they assume, but what they rightly believe and deserve depending on their actions. He will never mistake yours for another. His rewards always accompany great changes.

David gave us an insight into what it takes for those who believe in Jesus Christ to receive this befitting life changing reward ‘Patience’. God will never play prangs with anyone, will never ignore you forever, will never be silent indefinitely. His word is His promise and His promise is His reward. People are rapidly losing their patience these days in almost all things. If we need the transforming reward from God, we also need to uphold these three levels of patience.

1. Patience with self. Why disturb yourself with what you cannot change? Continuously trust God for the change. 2. Patience with others. Don’t expect everyone to be like you, think like you and act like you. No one will ever be like you. Be the salt to change your world. Be patient with others and treat them right even when they fail you as you expect reward from God. 3. Be patient with God. God has a time for your reward and He will never fail you, irrespective of the years.

David was about eleven when Samuel anointed him king but waited till thirty for the promise to be fulfilled. Joseph was seventeen when he had his dream and waited till he was thirty before the dream was fulfilled. Don’t drop your dreams because of opposition. Don’t change your prayers because of disappointments. Don’t change your trust in our Lord Jesus Christ because of delays. Don’t lose your patience because of your age. Your very best is still in the hands of God and not in the hands of any man. His answers will come with a complete and amazing change.

David said he waited patiently and received the change, the promise and the reward. 1. God heard him and inclined His ears to His demands. 2. Lifted him out of his daily despairs in life. 3. Lifted him out of mud and mires of daily sorrows and pains. 4. Set his feet on a solid ground and gave him a firm foundation to stand and walk on the rest of his life. That’s the reward of patience

It is amazing to know what God can do, what He will do and to actually receive what you know of Him.  God’s plans for you are too numerous to count and too wonderful to behold. They are too precious to be missed by the display of impatience to Him, others and self. When God finishes with you, you will definitely out run your competitors.  Your day of complete change is here to stay. Trust God and exercise patience while you keep doing what is right. Christ said “My reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be”. Revelation 22:12

My prayer for you is that God will bring you to the testimony of Psalm 40:1-5
