There are several things that God will never reveal to many Christians until they decide to take those extraordinary steps in godly decision making, and dwell daily in them vowing to continue till the very end. Today, just as in the days of old, God is ready to demonstrate His extraordinary and amazing blessings in the lives of everyone who will dare to take such decisions and be fully ready to abide with such until they see it’s fulfillment in the land of the living. God will not, and does not work with double minded, unstable and indecisive individuals irrespective of their standing in the church and in the society. They bible says this type of people though Christians; will always be unstable and cannot be untrusted by God. People who are unstable are covetous, greedy and destructive of divine blessings because they lack godly principles. “For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways” James 1:7-8. Godly decision will always bear fruits with time. “They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing” Psalms 92:14

We have read in the book of Genesis how God first made all things before making man, and gave that same man the power of inheritance to all His creations. But despite this amazing gift of all things, we read how Adam and Eve were plugged into sin and began experiencing pains and lack even in the mist abundance. In the time of Abraham, while walking in obedience to God’s words, and despite his difficulties and lack, Abraham decided to remain faithful irrespective of the inconvenience he experienced in such decision. If your obedience to God does not cost you any pain or something tangible in life, look again at your walk with Him. God demands total obedience for total blessings in all things.

This is how Abraham got the fullness of his blessing. “And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly”. Genesis 17:1-2

“And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:  That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice” Genesis 22:15-18.  El-shaddai means the Almighty God. the one who can do all things.

El shaddai is one of God’s covenant names that were revealed to Abraham in a very special way and in a special occasion. God confirmed the fullness of this name at the point of Abraham’s complete obedience despite the pains. Did you know that same God will do the same with you as He did with Abraham? Did you know obedience to divine principles open doors that had proven impossible before despite several attempts?

That name El-Shaddai, reveals God’s affection, cares, mercy and feelings about our weakness. Reminds us of the one who encourages us daily and blesses us in our obedience. The one who rebuke and correct us when we fall into sin. The one who is not willing that any should perish irrespective of the circumstances, and the one who redeems us to carry His image and glory. By His love, you are getting to the point of benefiting in the fullness of His affection like Abraham. That name also tells us about God’s inexhaustible ability to meet all needs, sustain all of His creations, and defend them to the fullest. It reveals to us what God intends to do for His people, you inclusive.

It is not impossible for God to meet all of your needs when you walk in obedience. That name carries a magnificent blessing, a multiplying grace and glory, and an amazing strength which cannot be overrun by the powers of lack and the enemies. Nothing is impossible for him to do in us when we walk in obedience.
