And God gave Joseph a dream. And Joseph told his parents and brothers the dream. And his brothers hated him the more and plotted to kill him. And Go fulfilled the dream He gave to Joseph. And Joseph’s father, brothers and their families came a enjoyed the fruits of that fulfilled dream. That is the narrative of Joseph and his two dreams. God did not begin with Joseph in any other way but through a vision, pictures without a word, opening the door for him to think and ask for understanding from his father. But long before Joseph was born, long before the two dreams of Joseph, long before he saw the visions in the dream, and long before the confirmation of the dream, God in His power and perfection of fore-knowledge had spoken to Abraham concerning his descendants going to Egypt and becoming servants to the Egyptians; God knew what was to come for the children of Isreal in Egypt, He knew what was to be done and long before the two dreams and visions of Joseph, God had chosen him to lead the way to fulfill what He had told Abraham and Joseph was being physically prepared for that mission by God.

Remember God only gave Joseph a dream and in the dream was a vision of things and events but God did not give him any word. That signifies God will be the one to lead him, God will be the one to make it happen and God will be the one to empower it. Joseph was not told by God or by his parents what to do for the dream to come to pass and neither did he knew what to do. All that was required of Joseph which was not mentioned in the dream and vision or by his father was to always remain faithful to God alone in obedience to His written principles and His words even when such faithfulness will hurt you or jeopardize your chances of blessing. In the Vision in the dream, God showed Joseph something he could never do for himself, something he would become in the future, something no one can do for him and something higher than expected. God will show you something higher than what you are right now in your vision. God cannot and will not show you anything smaller than what your current position, and when you remain faithful to Him in obedience and with diligence, He will confirm His words and fulfill His plans.

In the dream and vision, God showed Joseph what was to come but did not show or tell him how it will happen. Did you know God’s plans will definitely work itself out in your life as it did in the life of Joseph if you will remain a believer in Jesus Christ, a believer in His words, a believer in His promises and remain faithful to Him despite the hate, the disappointments, the jealousy, the discouragement, and the evil accusations? God will give you a vision and He will do it. “This is the family history of Jacob, Joseph was a young man, seventeen years old. He and his brothers, the sons of Bilhah and Zilpah, his father’s wives, cared for the flocks. Joseph was a helper to his brothers. Joseph gave his father bad reports about his brothers. Since Joseph was born when his father Israel was old, Israel loved him more than his other sons. He made Joseph a special multicolored robe. When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father loved him more than he loved them, they hated their brother and could not speak to him politely. One time Joseph had a dream, and when he told his brothers about it, they hated him even more. Joseph said, listen to the dream I had. We were in the field tying bundles of wheat together. My bundle rose and stood upright, and your bundles of wheat gathered around it and bowed down to it. His brothers said, do you really think you will be king over us? Do you truly think you will rule over us? His brothers hated him even more because of his dreams and what he had said. Then Joseph had another dream, and he told his brothers about it also. He said, listen, I had another dream. I saw the sun, moon, and eleven stars bowing down to me. Joseph also told his father about this dream, but his father scolded him saying, what kind of dream is this? Do you really believe that your mother, your brothers, and I will bow down to you? Joseph’s brothers were jealous of him, but his father thought about what all these things could mean.” Genesis 37:1-11. Prayer Request Click here
