THE BEST DAYS OF JOB

Is there any good thing that the Lord cannot do on earth today? Is there any good thing that He will withhold in the lives of His children who cry and wait on Him alone? Is there any limitation to His love and ability? Are His hands too short to reach out and deliver you? Are His ears too heavy to hear your prayers? Is He too busy when it comes to your case? Is it that His eyes cannot locate where you are right now? Is it that you have been completely destroyed by the devil while still living and trusting Him? Can He not deliver you, can He not bless you, can He not put your enemies to shame, and can He not change you and change things around you?

The answer is that there is nothing absolutely too hard for your God to do in your life and there is absolutely no limitation to His ability when it comes to your situation. The latter days of Job are a confirmation that there is nothing that God will not do for His children when they do not allow any of their situations, poor or rich, sick or healthy, married or single, to affect their relationship with Him. “And the Lord turned the captivity of Job. So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning.” Job 42:10; 12

The best of the life of Job was never before the days of his afflictions and troubles in the hands of Satan though he was very rich before that day, he had joyful children before that day, he had a happy marriage, a good family life, a good and flourishing business that was bringing in needed money to meet every available needs. His best days came after the sudden manifestation of the unexpected trouble in his health, wealth, family, children and business. It was definitely the days after his troubles, his humiliations in the hands of Satan, after his nakedness, homelessness, after the day of the torment that the Lord God permitted in His life, after the days that Satan employed everything He had to afflict him in every area.

Definitely your better days are coming Oh dear children of the living and Almighty God; your afflictions, loneliness, idleness, lack and poverty, tortures, frustrations, denials, delays, weakness and evil subjection are not indefinite. Your days of change are coming, your days for a new song are coming, your days of rejoicing and celebration are coming, your days of good reflections are coming, and your days of renewal and restoration are coming. This is because God is still watching over you as He did with Job.

The beauty in the book of Job is the joyful end of a man whose desires was to be all that God intended for him by serving Him truthfully, faithfully and fearfully even in the days and times of his greatest temptation and suffering in life. Job was a man that never deviated from following the principles of true godliness; he was a man who never allowed his wealth or his poverty to change his mind, change his words, his believes and change his relationship with his God.

Job never allowed his friends, his family members, his sympathizers, his colleagues and even his physical situation to create a doubt in his heart and to affect his ways before his God. He was a man who valued a perfect godly relation far more than wealth, far more than suffering and far more important than keeping any friend. Job was a man after God’s heart when things were good and when things were bad, when he was happy, when things were going as planned and when things turn out otherwise. Such quality God will never overlook, never ignore and never forsake. Did you know that God is actively and absolutely in control in your life despite what you are seeing and experiencing, the denials, the loneliness, the intimidations and abuses? Things may be tough for you but your God is actively with you. The devil may seem to be taking everything from you, but God will restore them all. Your loneliness may be taking a toll on you but God will give you companions that will glory Him. The best of you is definitely coming soon. For prayers, Click here
