DO IT WELL, DON’T BE DISCOURAGED (2)

You feel discouraged, disappointed, shamefully insulted, called derogatory names, humiliated in private and in public, and forced to suffer by your adversaries, but despite what is done and will be done, never give up trying to do what is right, what is true and acceptable in the sight of God, and never give up obeying God’s words, following His commands and being patient. In all cases, in all instances, and in all situations, irrespective of location, age, suppression, opposition, race, and fears, God never gives up because He knows all of His plans will be fulfilled, all will work well according to His desires, and everyone will see them. In your case, God will have victory, His children will be successful, those who follow Him will see and receive His goodness.

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God's instruction after giving them all He created on earth, God was angry with them, but never gave up on seeking them out and helping them from the continuous grip of Satan. In His love, He covered their nakedness and promised to defeat the Satan that deceived them and He did through Christ Jesus our Lord (Genesis 3). When Sarah laughed at the promise of God to give them a son that will be called Isaac because of twenty-five years of delay and her old age, God never gave up on her, and on Abraham her husband, God still fulfilled His promises (Genesis 18:9-15). Even when Hannah was insulted and humiliated for not having children, God did not give up on her because she was humiliated, He opened her womb and even gave her seven children much more than she requested (1 Samuel 2:5). When Satan destroyed all that Job had and made him suffer, God did not give up on Job, He thereafter blessed him much more than he was before the attack.

Despite your weaknesses, God has not given up on you, He has not changed His words and plans concerning you. As He is with others, so is He in you, and in His love, He will vindicate you. He will not allow you to bow to your enemies; by His faithfulness, He will keep you strong until the ways are open and you see the manifestation of His plans. God did not give up on Jabez despite given a bad name, physical disabilities, and rejection by parents. Jabez lived to see things turned around in his life and enjoyed the blessings and faithfulness of the God who answers prayers. He will do yours also. Don’t give up, keep doing what is right despite the pains, opposition, rejection, delays, and the evil resistance around. God has given a decree over your life that must be obeyed and no resistance will change His decree. He will answer all your prayers and grant all your request; when you call, He will answer and will embolden you to stand till the date He had destined for your glory to come forth with power and authority. People will hear them and will hear you; they will see them and will see you, and they will praise your God for what He will do in your life. Though God is in heaven, He is in and with you. Though He is high above, He holds you in His hands and leads you on the ways prepared for you. He gives thoughts and ideas that open up the paths for your success because He had destined you to succeed. Though you walk in the midst of trouble daily, His eyes are on you, He will preserve you; He will stretch His hands against your evil foes; He will vindicate you when accused through Christ Jesus. He will not abandon His words, Hos work, His children, and His plans for your life.

“I thank you, Lord, with all my heart; I sing praise to you before the gods. I face your holy temple, bow down, and praise your name because of your constant love and faithfulness, because you have shown that your name and your commands are supreme. You answered me when I called to you; with your strength, you strengthened me. All the kings in the world will praise you, Lord, because they have heard your promises. They will sing about what you have done and about your great glory. Even though you are so high above, you care for the lowly, and the proud cannot hide from you. When I am surrounded by troubles, you keep me safe. You oppose my angry enemies and save me by your power. You will do everything you have promised; Lord, your love is eternal. Complete the work that you have begun.” Psalms 138:1-8. For prayers, Click here
