“SAY TO THE FAITHFUL AND THE RIGHTEOUS ----”

Their righteousness is of God and He will not compromise their destiny or give them up to any other god. Their faithfulness to their God in services, in obedience and in loyalty in His vineyard will never be in vain. To the righteous, your redeemer is alive and very active; the one who saved you, who called you and who is keeping you will not fail you for any reason. He will uphold you in all situations; He will lift you up and out of the miry clays and slim pits of afflictions that is causing pains and anger, He will take you out of the muddy waters that overwhelm you in the day and in the night; He will restore unto you the perfect joy of salvation and holiness; He will give you the fruits of obedience and sacrifice; He will give you the blessings and breakthrough in due season and He will never allow you to be mocked again. Paul said “We are pressured in every way, hedged in, but not crushed; perplexed, unsure of finding a way out, but not driven to despair; hunted down and persecuted, but not deserted to stand alone; struck down, but never destroyed; always carrying around in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the resurrection life of Jesus also may be shown in our body. For we who live are constantly experiencing the threat of being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the resurrection life of Jesus also may be evidenced in our mortal body which is subject to death.” 2 Corinthians 4:8-11

Apostle Paul talked about what he went through not what he thought through; those words are very relevant to what we are experiencing today for just living in the righteousness of Christ and just being faithful to Him. Apostle Paul talked about being pressured in every way, in everything, and by everyone; he said we are hedged in by the forces of darkness and evil, but irrespective of all the experiences, we not crushed and will not be crushed; he said we are perplexed by what we see and experienced, we are unsure of finding a way out of the many troubles we have in our job, in our finance, in our marriage, with our spouse, children, and friends, but despite all, we are not driven to despair by their effects; we are hunted down to be destroyed or persecuted for crimes we never committed, but despite that also we are not deserted to stand alone by our Lord and God; we are struck down by sickness, by shameful words, by loneliness, by disappointments, by inadequate supplies, and by injustice, but despite all of that, we will never be destroyed by any; we are always carrying around in our body the dying of our Lord Jesus Christ, and will also show the resurrection of Jesus in our bodies. We are constantly experiencing threats of handing over to death for Jesus’ sake, but in that also we will be saved by His saving grace and power. But despite the evidence of our various experiences, despite the feelings of defeat and loneliness and of shame; despite the loudness of our enemies and the often promotions to higher levels; and despite the cries we have at night and in the day, in our offices, in our marriages and in our home, God speaking to us in the scriptures assures us that it shall be well, we will have victory. “Say to the righteous that it will go well with them, for they will eat the fruit of their righteous actions.” Isaiah 3:10. The righteous are being cast down by men with evil intent, they are punished for being righteous and relying on the righteousness of Christ; they are victimized for seeking the truth and justice to all; they are hated for loving Jesus Christ and showing that love openly; they are castigated for not supporting evil and they are becoming victims of evil plots of the wicked for standing upright before men and before God, but the word of God for them is that it shall be well irrespective of the activities of the unrighteous and the situation they have left you. It shall be well, says the Lord our God; it shall be as our God had said, had destined and had designed. It shall not end as our enemies thought; as our enemies planned and as our enemies are saying. Our God is still on the throne, He is still merciful and compassionate, He is still loving and kind, He is still in authority and in absolute control of our lives and He is still caring and magnanimous in meeting our needs in a miraculous way.
