DESPITE ALL CHALLENGES

Post date: Dec 28, 2012 5:15:11 AM

Because of Christ Jesus we can gladly say despite all challenges, we can see the next year with greater expectations, hope and courage. Challenges will come, but they will not overcome us, they are bound to expose us to adversities, but they will not destroy us, they are meant to stretch our faith and our thoughts, but not meant to break or kill us. We are what we are now through the grace given to us by God, and through that same grace we will do better with each challenge that comes our way, and we will stand through them all and give praise to our Lord Jesus Christ. Irrespective of the challenges, the expectation of God for your life will never fail, when you decide to always walk with Him, He will also walk with you. He will not bring you into any trouble but will take you through every one that you will meet on your path. God will not forsake you because of your troubles, but will deliver and comfort you, such that you will not miss your ways in following His divine principles of living in faith and in His words.

Mary and Joseph had challenges in their lives, but God saw them through, Christ Jesus had challenges, and the Bible said the child grew strong and advanced in all things. Past challenges had not stopped you from seeing this day, and by His grace will not stop you from see the next day and the next year. God will give you the needed grace for each challenge that is pending and that which is coming; through them the Lord will bring the blessing and the praises from your mouth. “And when they had done everything according to the Law of the Lord, they went back into Galilee to their own town, Nazareth. And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of God was upon Him. And He went down with them and came to Nazareth and was obedient to them; and his mother kept and closely and persistently guarded all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom (full understanding) and in stature and years, and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2: 39-40; 51-52

Mary and Joseph were challenged but the birth of Christ was successful. He was born in a manger but He grew up to fulfill every word that was spoken concerning Him. Your challenge will not stop you as you hold on to God’s purpose for your life. “For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from the [latter] time forth, even forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9:6-7

Christ Jesus our Lord and savior did overcome all challenges He ever faced and as we follow Him, we will also overcome ours. Despite the challenges the bible said the government shall be upon His shoulder and it was so. Despite the challenges, the child grew and increased in wisdom, stature and in favor with God and man. Despite the challenge, His kingdom expanded till this very day and has no sign of ending. Despite the challenge, you have seen this day and will see tomorrow peacefully. Despite all challenges over the years, you are still alive and hopeful, the Lord still kept you going, He will also provide everything needed to sustain you till you see your victory. Despite all challenges, Christ defeated the devil, despite all challenges; He had twelve disciples and did meet all His financial and spiritual obligations. Despite all challenges, He is at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. Despite your challenges, victory will not elude you, God will not fail you, sickness and loneliness will not overcome you. As you walk with Him, you will also grow with Him and be blessed with and through Him. Despite your challenges, your Lord Jesus Christ is called, Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. This is what He is and you will enjoy all the benefits in the year ahead. Amen
