IN ALL THESE THINGS, I AM THANKFUL

All through this year, through all these things, you have been hidden in Christ by our Father in heaven against the troubles in the past days, months, and current year. God hid you so that you were not destroyed the way they had wanted or the way they intended. God hid you because He alone is able to do so; God hid you because He wants you you live, He has a future for you, and because He has plans that must be fulfilled only by you, in you, and through you, not by another person. Because He had saved you, He has also chosen you, and kept you where you are; He is preparing you to share in His glory where He will take you to according to His plans for you right now. He is taking you to a harvest in a field and in a place He had prepared for you as He promised and took the children of Israel to the Promised Land. Be thankful because your God will not fail. “Since then you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Colossians 3:1-4

Think about whatever you want. God took you through it, He kept you through it, and now He is giving you chance to reciprocate with a thankful heart, a thankful word, a praise worthy of Him, and a cheerful heart that recognizes Him as the one and only Lord in your life; that without Him working in you and through you, all these days, and years, nothing would have been possible; things would be different; struggles would have been fruitless; desiring to live would have been meaningless, and all hopes would have diminished. God has a plan for keeping alive today and you have to be thankful for the plans you know and the ones you do not know. Thankful for the working power of His grace to keep you hopeful for the very thing in your life now and in the future, thankful for the big things you have not seen or received, and thankful for the small ones in your custody right now; thankful for the family and the people, and always thankful for life irrespective of your feelings and experiences. God always knows the plans, thoughts, and love He has for you, and He will fulfill them. Have really considered personally thanking God in your life for everything? Thanking Him not only before or after a meal, not only for the family, not only when you have a breakthrough, or success, or have that dream job, that dream house, that dream spouse, that dream child, or that dream relationship.

Being thankful in all and for all things is needful and very necessary, God deserves it because with Him we have life, peace, and hope. Let thanksgiving to the Almighty God be an everyday part of your life, living, and prayers. Thank Him at all times and in all things, not only at the times of prayers or in the church, thank Him always, everywhere, in, and with everything. David made a promise to thank god always; “I will praise You O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name O Most High. When my enemies turn back, they shall fall and perish at Your presence.” Psalm 9:1-3. Did you know our thanks to the Almighty God makes our enemies wonder, to stumble and to turn back? “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:15-17. The God who saw us through, who kept us through, who brought us where we are now, who is keeping us for His glory is still with us deserves our thanksgiving. There were things we could not handle, things we cannot or should not ignore, but though we see and feel them, we should never fail o give God our true and sincere thanks. For prayers, Click here
