THERE IS NOTHING COMPARED TO HIS CROSS.

There is no true love without the outward display of mercy. Love is made perfect, acceptable, enjoyable, beneficial, and very true where mercy is always shown and display. Without mercy there is no forgiveness, without mercy there is no relationship, without mercy there is no family, without mercy there are no good deeds, and without mercy, there is no salvation. Without mercy there is no assurance for the future, there will be no hope for any form of correction, there will not hope for possible redemption, and without mercy, there will be no strong hope for success. All have gone astray says the Holy Scripture, none is right, none is true, and none is Holy. We are all living because of God’s mercy, not because of our wealth or riches, not because of excellent gifts or our carefulness; not because of our talents or beauty; not because of our professional abilities, knowledge or achievements; not because of our distinct wisdom or muscular strength, and definitely not because of our location, name, or religion. It is all by His love displayed in His exceptional love. God shows us mercy because of His love and nothing else. Not because of our exceptional profession, works, and excellent deeds. “---- For by strength shall no man prevail.” 1 Samuel 2:9. God upholds us by His love and keeps us alive by His mercy.

“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God, and every one that loveth is born of God and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.” 1 John 4:7-14. Two things that describe our God perfectly, (1) He is the God of love and (2) He is the God of mercy. If anyone truly loves, that person must truly display consistent mercy for that love to be real, active, and true. Satan completely lacks mercy.

For God to express His true love for mankind, He sent Jesus Christ into the world to show mercy to all in place of judgment and condemnation; He showed it through Christ Jesus not through any form of material blessings or things, and He showed it through the expression in His words. God is love and to show His love, He sent Jesus Christ into the world. What away to do it.

On the Cross, our Lord Jesus was crucified after being condemned for our sins; on the Cross, Christ took our punishment and pains on Himself so we will not be punished or continue in the pains of condemnation; on the Cross, Christ shed His blood to set us free from all the evil consequences and the wickedness of the power of sin; on the Cross, Christ Jesus finished the work for our complete redemption and salvation; on the Cross, Christ Jesus obtain for us physical and spiritual freedom, and on the Cross, all who will ever come to believe in Him are separated and ordained to share His divine nature and in His inheritance forever.

Through the Cross of Jesus Christ, we have unhindered access to the throne of God to obtain His grace and His mercy and life; through the Cross of Jesus Christ we have unhindered access to all the promises of God in heaven and on earth; through the Cross of Jesus Christ we have access to God’s peace to live in peace, to God’s wisdom to have wisdom, to God’s blessings to be blessed and be a blessing, and to God assurance to put our faith. Through the Cross of Jesus Christ, we have access to God’s love to be loved, to live in love and to show love. Through the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, we have divine insight and assurance that we are the children of the living God and will reign with Him. In showing humanity His love, God sent Jesus Christ to the world, and in showing humanity His mercy He allowed Jesus Christ on that Cross. For prayers, Click here
