ANOINTING COMES WITH POWER (1)

I want you to know that salvation comes with powers to enable us to become sons and daughters of the Almighty God: “But as many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13. The power in salvation makes you a child of the living God by changing you spiritually and physically, giving you true access to the Father through Jesus Christ; the power in salvation is a proves to the world that you have been washed clean, chosen for better things, accepted as a child, separated from evil and made ready for the bliss that only our Father in heaven will and can provide. The power of salvation changes ordinary people to spiritual giants and mighty vessels of honor in the house of the God and made them ready to receive the fullness of the power of the Holy Spirit, the power of the anointing, and the favor that follows. Salvation is the first step and the first thing anyone will need; it is the only thing that will keep you in God’s good book and continuous favor; it is the only best thing we can show as evidence of our relationship with God and acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Salvation is the key that opens the heart of God before our prayers will open His ears to hear, His mouth to respond, and His hands to help; salvation is the source of the Christian strength and boldness and fearlessness; it is our best and only access route to the supernatural realm where Christ Jesus dwells and reigns as King and Lord over the universe.

When we ignore or pay little or no attention to our Salvation, we will definitely not enjoy the intent for the salvation and the power it carries. One thing we should cherish above all else as Christians is our salvation. Why? True Salvation takes away our past and prepare us for the best of our future in Christ Jesus; it takes away our sins and presents us sinless before God; takes away our guilts replacing it with thanksgiving and praise; turns hopeless moments and situations into moments of hope and assurance; gives us the grace to have faith in our God and His words; it gives us the best assurance of fulfillment beyond the best promises from men. Salvation opens the doors of heaven and keeps it open for us until the day of Christ return. Salvation opens our eyes to see new things, ears to hear new things, gives us a new way of thinking, of understanding of issues affecting us and others, and gives us new ways of seeking redress, talking, and relating one to another, and Salvation gives us the confidence to pray to the Almighty God.

Without salvation, there will be no hope for man in the world, no peace, and no secured future to live for. Apostle Paul assured us: “Inasmuch then as we believers have a great High Priest who has already ascended and passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession of faith and cling tenaciously to our absolute trust in Him as Savior. For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted knowing exactly how it feels to be human in every respect as we are, yet without committing any sin. Therefore let us with privilege approach the throne of grace, that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy for our failures and find His amazing grace to help in time of need an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment.” Hebrews 4:14-16

The power that results from knowing what it means to be sons and daughters of the Living God through Salvation expresses itself in our confidence to do things we might not originally believe could be possible and see better results and live better lives thereafter. Through the knowledge of Christ in our salvation, we gain the confidence to enter into the presence of God boldly, knowing that we belong there as sons and daughters and have the right to be there. The power in salvation gives us access to the power of the Holy Spirit and the power of the anointing. I pray that you will experience this power of salvation today in Jesus Name, Amen.
