JABEZ ENDED VERY WELL

Post date: Nov 6, 2014 9:04:45 PM

Jabez parents gave birth to him with a negative dream and a very bad expectation of his future, but Jabez grew up to develop a great and positive dream for himself; he grew up to have a more practical and realistic vision of himself and his future, and through a very strong and personal determination, he saw his life change and made must better that all dreams and visions from his parents and people around. If your parents had no dream for you, create one, if they have nothing better for you, create one, and if the never had a vision, that should not stop you from setting the pace for others around you to follow.

His parents saw sorrow and regrets when he was born, but Jabez saw joy and courage after his birth, and lived to be see the fulfillment of joy and the result of courage. His parents saw great difficulties before them and before him, difficulties that they believe they and Jabez will never overcome, but Jabez saw difficulties that can be defeated and he lived through determination to have them defeated gloriously and permanently.

Jabez was honorable above his brothers; but his mother named him Jabez (sorrow maker), saying, because I bore him in pain. Jabez cried to the God of Israel, saying, Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me. And God granted his request.” 1 Chronicles 4:9-10

At birth, his mother immediately remembered all her pains and sorrows in her own life; she also remembered her sorrows in child bearing from the previous children; she remembered the pains and sorrows that follows her other children, and together with her husband, they concluded to name this new born baby Jabrz, meaning sorrow. In the very best of their imaginations, thoughts, and assumptions, Jabez will definitely end up like the previous children at home; but through the grace of the Almighty God and through the personal determination to pray, Jabez completely lived and see his life changed beyond the imaginations of his parents and those who never wished him well at birth.

You may have been born a no body in your family and in your nation; your parents may have lost all hope in your redemption, in your recovery, in your making life better for yourself, and they have lost all hope that you will never make a difference; I want you to draw inspiration in the life of Jabez, that contrary to all expectation, Jabez actually lived and prove the expectations, the imaginations, and the thoughts of his parents against him wrong. I pray that you will live beyond the imaginations of evil, you will live beyond the thoughts of people wishing you to fail; you will live beyond the expectations of those waiting to you fall and fail. Despite the effects your name at birth, you can live above them and prove the meaning and effects of those names wrong.

His parents had no hope and trust that he will ever experience change in his lifetime, but Jabez had hope and trusted God that he will have change and will experience a renewal of life and will live the rest of his life in surplus through God’s grace and power and God did as Jabez requested. He was born poor and destined by the imaginations of his parents and family members to remain poor forever, but despite their expectations and far beyond their imaginations, Jabez exceeded all expectation to end well and far better. God took him far beyond his expectations and far beyond the words of his prayers.

This was his prayers: ‘Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me’. God did heard his prayers and did bless him; God did enlarge his borders; God did put His hands on him; God did keep him from evil and God did protect him from being hurt by words or by imaginations of his parents and people around him. Jabez ended well and so will you. For prayers, Click here
