OH GOD I STILL HAVE UNFINISHED PROJECTS

“Then Joshua spoke to the Lord on the day when the Lord handed over the Amorites to the sons of Israel, and Joshua said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand still at Gibeon, and moon, in the Valley of Aijalon. So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, until the nation of Israel took vengeance upon their enemies. Is it not written in the Book of Jashar? So the sun stood still in the middle of the sky and was in no hurry to go down for about a whole day. There has not been a day like that before it or after it, when the Lord listened to the voice of a man; for the Lord was fighting for Israel.” Joshua 10:12-13. Contrary to all the feelings that you have because of what you had seen and experienced over the years; contrary to all the thoughts in your heart because of what you have heard and read of others in their helpless situations that are similar to yours; contrary to the words of men to you directly and indirectly concerning your life now and your future, God had not abandoned you though you may be thinking of abandoning your dreams and visions; He had never abandon anyone who sincerely believed and come to Him through Jesus Christ; He had never abandoned anyone redeemed and washed by the pressures blood of Jesus Christ, and He will not in any way abandon you and the request you have presented to Him.

God will not abandon any project He had started in you, He did not abandon the creation, He did not abandon the wickedness of men at the time of Noah, he did not abandon Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah, did not abandon Abraham and Sarah, did not abandon Jabez in his situation and He will never abandon you. Nothing will make Him do that. Do you need mercy to complete the unfinished projects in your life? He is always merciful and will provide mercy abundantly; do you need forgiveness, He is a forgiving Father, He will forgive you; do you need help to begin again or to continue where you stopped? He will help you; do you need peace to know where to go or what to do next? He is a peacemaker and will give you peace; do you need direction after being lost, not knowing what to do, or not understanding what you have to do? He is a direction giver and is able to rescue you and place you on the right path again.

There are many things that God had said concerning our lives that are still waiting to be seen with our eyes and handled with our hands; we know the ones that had been fulfilled and we also know those still waiting to be fulfilled and we have no alternative than to see them fulfilled. We were all born with a dream and for a purpose but along the way some dreams seem unattainable and the purpose and process seem too tough, but the God who gave the dream will help us and the God who gave the purpose is still alive and will help us to see the dream fulfilled and the purpose attained for His glory. There are several problems in life but you were not born to be troubled and destroyed by those problems, God is able to give you victory in all of them.

When Joshua had an unfinished project according to the words of God to him, he went to God and demanded his readiness to finish the project, to testify to the faithfulness of God and to attest to the ever presence of help from our God; he demanded the Sun and the moon to stand still and God heard him and gave him answer. God told him not to be afraid and assured him that all the projects will be accomplished and made the sun and the moon to stand still until the project was finished as he requested. The God who answered Joshua will answer you; the God who granted his request will grant yours, His project in your hands will be completed. “So the men of Gibeon sent word to Joshua at the camp in Gilgal, saying, do not abandon your servants; come up to us quickly and save us and help us, for all five of the kings of the Amorites who live in the hill country have assembled against us. So Joshua went up from Gilgal, he and all the people of war with him, and all the men of valor. The Lord said to Joshua, do not fear them because I have given them into your hand; not one of them shall stand before you. So Joshua came upon them suddenly by marching uphill all night from Gilgal.
