YOU WERE BORN TO WIN

I am trusting God that despite your pains and disappointments in life; despite your sorrows and shame; despite all the abuses and failure; despite all the humiliations and the curse; despite the delays in your dreams and your struggling; despite the lack of tangible and sustainable help; and despite the lack of power to do what you want to do life you have realized that you were born to win in aspects of living; you have realized that you were born with a gift, a talent and you have a dream, a desire and you are working every day to break the jinx and stigma against your life. I am trusting God your date, your daytime, and your moment of change will come. The day you have been working towards will come; the day you will laugh out with an unstoppable joy will come; the moment you will testify to the goodness and faithfulness of God will come and the day you will call a celebration and people will recognize your physical and spiritual change will come.

Though we were all born naked into the world, we were not born empty headed, without a talent and without several distinguishing gifts. God had placed something inside you to distinguish you from all others around the world who may be in the same profession, have the same name and also dream the same dream with you; He had placed something in you that will distinguish you from all forms of shame and all forms of failures that may seek to terminate your visions and the ones that you will ever experience as you move along in life; He had placed something in you to help you navigate life appropriately in all circumstances, to aid you in all of your life desires, and to guide your dreams to the point of fulfillment. God had given you His Holy Spirit to help bring you to the fullness of His best desires for your life, His perfect will for your life and His purpose for bringing you into the world.

God had a plan for Jabez before he was born; through God’s grace he was conceived with honor, though his mother had pains on the day of his delivery and after seeing him she was angry and named him after her pains, she completely lost thoughts and vision of the possibility of a son who will do better though he was born in pains and given the name that was not honorable as intended by God for him. Though the parents saw him as a problem to their lives and his family saw him as a son that will extend their sorrows, but on growing up, he saw himself as a son and a man that God can and will use to change the family, give the parents joy and someone who was born and destined to win all of lives adversities. “Jabez was more honorable than his brothers; but his mother named him Jabez, saying because I gave birth to him in pain. Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, saying, oh that You would indeed bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand would be with me, and You would keep me from evil so that it does not hurt me. And God granted his request.” 1 Chronicles 4:9-10

Jabez was born with a physical disability and not a mental disability, and he lived to overcome that disability through his knowledge and personal relationship with the Almighty Father. Jabez was born with a physical stigma that was seen and known by all but he lived to overcome all the signs of that stigma associated with his birth and name. His mother gave birth to him with the kind of pains she could not just forget easily or overcome but Jabez lived to overcome the pains associated with his birth and name by his mother and family members. It was intended by his parents and family members that due to his birth and name, he will continue living in the pains of his name the rest of his life but that was not the case because he called on God for a divine help. Jabez saw sorrow working in his life but he never remained in it for the rest of his life; he saw parental anger all over himself but never allowed that anger to rule his life continually. He saw ancestral ignorance playing out in his family but he refused live in it. When he realized he had the gift and ability of prayer, he used it to turn his life and situation around for good. He was born a loser but he turned it around and became a winner. Click here for prayer.
