MUCH MORE THAN EXPECTED

What are your life expectations? “For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.  Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:14-21

The love of God for His children is far beyond the best thoughts and imaginations of men in all aspects of physical and spiritual things. While we will always think more about what we know, what we see, what and how we may be feeling, and what we rightly deserve to have based on our individual situations, God thinks much more and will definitely do much more than that for us in every situation. He will always give us much more physical, and much more spiritual things. He gives us what is best for us now and in the future depending on the very best of His love and knowledge of our lives and situations. He cares for us more than we would ever think and ask; His protective grace covers all our physical and spiritual weaknesses and the best of all our strength in every way.

Despite the best of your prayers, thoughts of good things, efforts to achieve the very best, the best of dreams, and the knowledge of things, events, and situations, God will never limit you just within the boundaries of your expectations in life, He will take you beyond your best. It is good to know that your dreams will never contain all that God intends in and for your life; it will definitely contain some unseen things, some unknown things, and some unimaginable things, all targeted to bringing the very best for your life.

We can recall how God gave Sarah more than her expectation in the case of having a child. After several years of waiting and prayers in expectation, while Sarah had finalized her best hope on an arranged surrogate child from Hagar; far beyond that expectation, God decided to fulfill His promise to her by giving Sarah her own promised child Isaac. Sarah later said in the highest exclamation of joy and praise to the living God in her old age, “God has made me to laugh; all who hear will laugh with me.” Genesis 21:6, it was definitely much more than her expectation and this can also happen to you.

We can also remember Hannah, how she cried in prayer asking God for a child, and how God gave her much more than her expectation by giving her seven children instead of just one that she requested for in her prayers. Solomon also received much more than his expectations and his prayers when God made him one of the greatest in wisdom, wealth and riches of a King before his time in power, that was also much more than his expectations.

Coming to you God, trusting in Jesus Christ and walking according to His words will definitely place you in a position of receiving much more than your expectations. When you walk in God’s love and endeavor with all your life in seeing the same love in the lives of others around you, God will definitely give you much more than you expected. The same also will God do for you when you invest your time and energy to seek God’s peace in your live, in the lives of others around you. God will not deny you any of His goodness in life despite the passage of time and seasons. As you seek God’s salvation for your loved ones, God will give you much more than expected; as you learn to forgive others and live in peace with others, God will give you much more than expected. As you believe God for a blessing, and open doors, God will give you more than your expectation; do not stop your expectations. For prayers, Click here
