OVERCOME THAT IMPOSSIBILITY

Post date: Aug 30, 2013 4:10:54 AM

After Mary had faithfully and patiently listen to the angel of God deliver a message she never expected from God to her; before fear and uncertainty could overtake her thought and force her to tell the angel that such words were lies, how impossible it will be since with her senses, she could not imagine such can happen through her, the angel quickly added: “For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment” Luke 1:37. How many of us are still holding the words and promises of God within the power of our flawed imaginations? How many of us have declared our dreams, visions, and desires impossible because of our shallow knowledge, imagination and understanding? There is no way any man can truly figure out what, and how God will accomplish His words and promises in our lives. When Mary heard the assurance that God will definitely show up though she saw and think impossibility, she immediate accepted: “Then Mary said, Behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said. And the angel left her” Luke 1:38.

Impossibility is a very big word in the ears of men of all ages and in all classes that only seek to reduce or stop our drive to pursue our dreams, visions, desires, and every word and promises of the Almighty God that we have heard despite our conviction of its truthfulness. It weakens our strength to go further beyond the lines to where we can truly find real success. It frightens our sincerity and destroys our faith in trusting God to the very end. It is one word that gives boldness to fear to ride on in our hearts and take us on a backward slid despite the assurance in the word of God for an onward glory.

Accepting impossibility will rob you of your very best in life now and in the future. Impossibility is one of the killers of destiny and success, it is one of the causes of not receiving what God had said, planed and destined for you in life. It is one of the reasons you are what you are and where you are right now. It is one of the reasons you have complications, disagreements, bitterness and frictions in your life, business and home. The word of God for you is; it is not impossible for you and your situation to change and your life fully restored with godly joy, vigor and vitality.

Impossibility is the fuel that keeps all forms of wrong self-imaginations, self-encouragement and all other hindering things alive and active in us, it weakens our faith and wrongly declares our God as too small and uninterested in our lives and affairs. It keeps us always very angry with ourselves, with God and with others; that is the state of mind the devil intends for you to dwell in always and by God’s grace you are getting over them now into the realm of the possibility.

Overcoming impossibilities requires your trusting God beyond the physical things you see and always imagine. When the disciples we astonished “Jesus glanced around at them and said, with men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God. Fear not, there is nothing to fear, for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My victorious right hand of rightness and justice. Behold all they who are enraged and inflamed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; they who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. You shall seek those who contend with you but shall not find them; they who war against you shall be as nothing, as nothing at all. For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, Fear not; I will help you. He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith, that is, your lack of firmly relying trust. For truly I say to you, if you have faith that is living like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you” Mark 10:27, Isaiah 41:10-13, Matthew 17:20. It is God working actively in and through you to fulfill all of His plans. For Prayer Click here
