HOW CAN I BE SURE THIS WILL HAPPEN?

Through grace and love from Jesus Christ our Lord, you will not get used to failure, delays, denials, shame and those disappointments that you had experienced all these years in Jesus Name. Because doubts could not stop God from being your Lord, I pray it will not stop you from being His sons and daughter; as fear could not stop your God from saving your life, walking in you, through you, and speaking to you, I pray fear will not also stop you from trusting those words you have heard; as disbelieve could not stop your God from opening your understanding to see and know beyond the physical, I pray it will not stop you from believing and following those extraordinary promises in the words that you have received, and as shame of your situation could not stop your God from ministering His grace to you, it will not also stop you from manifesting the grace that will enable the blessings promised you.

There are many persistent ugly and shameful situations that people had become used to in life, this is not because they like what they see but because there is nothing else for them to do to change the situation having tried their very best in previous attempts; not because they desired those situations, but because they could not change them on their own strength, wisdom and help from men despite their desires and prayers for change. Many have exhausted all their knowledge, power, spent all their income and whatever their family had to get over such situations, yet they could not, and now they are just seeking ways to manage the situation or falsely accept that it is God’s will for such to be in their lives. We should know by now that in His love and care, God had not willed that which is consistently inconvenient, ugly and unacceptable in our life; God had never planned our consistent failure, shame, barrenness, loneliness, poverty, imprisonment, unemployment, lack of success either in examinations, marriages or business, or family life or any other relationship. Whatever God had planned, willed, and desired for our lives in this world, they are very good, very comfortable, acceptable, very peaceful, and very possible. This is the word of God after creation: “Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good”. Genesis 1:31

The situation of Zechariah was that of trying to manage the shame, while doing his utmost best to keep up with his required services in the house of God. That was the situation that this servant of God, Zechariah fined himself and his family, he was trying all he could to console himself, his wife, his family and everyone else who will ever care to ask him until that faithful day when he saw, and also heard a contrary and comforting voice of the angel of God in the sanctuary of God, giving him something new to believe, something new to rejoice with, something new to hope on, something new to tell his wife and others and something new to confirm that even though he had forgotten his request, his prayers, his desires and his earlier expectations in marriage, that God had not forgotten, had not changed His mind and will not deny him that which will change his life and that of his family forever, and will not deny him the joy of marriage, faithfulness and consistency in faith, in believe and in actions.

When ugly situation last too long; when they defile all reasonable solutions in the books; when our very best fails; when medical and scientific solutions are not enough to solve the situations, it increases our level of doubts of ever getting out of it; it destroys our faith in God’s ability; it takes us back to questioning what we know, had seen, and had been told in the scriptures about the power in the words of God. But despite all that we will ever experience, seen and know, God is about to change them and we will see the change and praise His name. These were the words of Zechariah and the reply from the angel sent by God to him: “How can I be sure this will happen? Then the angel said, since you didn’t believe what I said, you will be silent and unable to speak until the child is born. For my words will certainly be fulfilled at the proper time. Luke 1:18-29. Though Zechariah could not believe because of his long wait, God enabled him to see the fulfillment of His word. That is what He will for you. For Prayers Click here
