“But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, for he had many possessions. Then Jesus said to his disciples, I tell you the truth, it is very hard for a rich person to enter The Kingdom of Heaven. I’ll say it again, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God. The disciples were astounded. Then who in the world can be saved? They asked. Jesus looked at them intently and said, humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” Matthew 19:22-27. Jesus Christ was not speaking against riches, He was speaking concerning possibilities, what God can do when we do what we should do. He did not tell the young man he will be poor thereafter; all He told him was sell what you have and follow me; the disciple questioned openly themselves when they heard that based on their thinking, their understanding and the action of the young man, but Jesus Christ gave them a better clarification concerning His words and their thoughts; that everything you think, desire and are destined for and pray for and ask Him for are possible with God.

Our relationship with God is made active, effective and very rewarding when we believe and trust and act with determination to whatever Christ said we should do. God will not fail to fulfill His promises and His words when we act decisively, remain faithful to it and wait patiently on Him. It might be in a relationship that has broken down irretrievably, or an issue to do with health, or finances or job, or family or something else where change seems and had been impossible after years of prayers, trusting, and doing what you think is right yet the delays and destructions seem imminent. In all these things, with God, there is and will always be hope, no matter how bad things look now and had been before. We have this assurance that there is absolutely nothing that is and will be impossible with God and for God to do for His children.

His power makes all things possible, His presence changes things, changes people and changes situations, He said whatever you ask, that will He do irrespective of the current situation. Have you asked? “When they came to the other nine disciples, they saw a large crowd around them, and scribes questioning and arguing with them. Immediately, when the entire crowd saw Jesus, they were startled and began running up to greet Him. He asked them, what are you discussing with them? One of the crowd replied to Him, Teacher, I brought You my son, possessed with a spirit which makes him unable to speak; and whenever it seizes him intending to do harm, it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth, and grinds his teeth and becomes stiff. I told Your disciples to drive it out, and they could not do it. He replied, O unbelieving faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him to Me. They brought the boy to Him. When the demonic spirit saw Him, immediately it threw the boy into a convulsion, and falling to the ground he began rolling around and foaming at the mouth. Jesus asked his father, how long has this been happening to him? And he answered, since childhood. The demon has often thrown him both into fire and into water, intending to kill him. But if You can do anything, take pity on us and help us. Jesus said to him,  you say to Me if You can? All things are possible for the one who believes and trusts in Me. Immediately the father of the boy cried out saying, I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief. When Jesus saw that a crowd was rapidly gathering around them, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, You deaf and mute spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again. After screaming out and throwing him into a terrible convulsion, it came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, he is dead. But Jesus took him by the hand and raised him, and he stood up. When He had gone indoors, His disciples began asking Him privately, why were we unable to drive it out? He replied to them, this kind of unclean spirit cannot come out by anything but prayer to the Father.” Mark 9:14-29. We have an assurance that whatever we ask, God will do. Prayer Request Click here
