THE GOD WHO PROVED MARY RIGHT WILL PROVE YOU RIGHT

Mary was absolutely right despite what happened thereafter between her and Joseph, the family norms and the tradition values. God did send His angel to speak directly, personally, and openly to Mary. Her story were real and all true; she was faithful in her narratives of what happened; she did not add or subtract any word to draw attention to her purity and faithfulness to God in any way; she did not use words that she did not clearly hear and understood on that day; she did not try to prove herself righteous or right or wrong to anyone at any time. All she did was tell a life story that was not very pleasant to the ears of some people but was very pleasant to her heart.

People did not believe that Mary saw an angel from God when she told them the story; they did not believe that she had any divine encounter with a divine being of that magnitude; they did not believe her story was real and true; they did not in any way trust her narrative or take her serious; prior to that encounter, they did not see anything special in her that will compel the Almighty God to choose her for such a mission or qualify her to be such an instrument in the hands of God; she was not a Rabi’s daughter or immediate relative; she was not a worker in the temple of God in Jerusalem with others; she was not a preacher herself; probably she had never led a mission at any time to any place in any form or in the name of the Almighty God before in her life; she had at no time received any prophecy or revelation before; she had never had a dream that God will use her; she had never had a vision that she will be chosen by God and she had never nursed any desire to be such an instrument in the hands of the living God; but it pleased the Lord to choose her instead; to use her instead, to bless her instead and confirm His promise to the world through her. Who can fault the choice of God? Who will declare you irrelevant when God had decided to make you relevant? Who can declare you useless when God had decided to make you useful for His glory? Who will refuse to accept you when God had decided to send you on His mission? Who will refuse to accept your increase when god had decided to multiply you greatly?

There are people who will doubt you and doubt your story as they did to Mary; they doubt that you are true and real; they doubt that God spoke to you or you had a revelation, but the attempt by any person to ridicule you will be frustrated by the God who had promised you. The God who confirmed that of Mary will confirm your own; He will fulfill all He told you in any way or form and His promises for your life will be proven right through clear manifestations; your waiting on God will be fruitful, it will not be in vain; God will answer your prayers; your testimony of joy will flourish; your truthfulness and faithfulness before God and men will be proven right; your salvation will be rewarded by the same God who gave you the salvation freely; those who say you are lying will see when God proves you right; those who doubt your faith will see you rise to glory; those who question your salvation will see the power of God flowing through you; those who vow your downfall will fall the same way they plan to pull you down; those waiting to see your destruction will wait in vain; The God who proved Mary right will prove you right also.

“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise, when as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” Matthew 1:18-23.
