"DID YOU KNOW GOD USED PHARAOH TO ANNOUNCE JOSEPH?"

Following God and believing in His words does not mean you will have all the ideas in the world to execute His plans and achieve all of your desires on earth; believing and trusting God for what He had planned and promised does not mean you will never make another foolish mistake or fall into situations seeking to take you on another route outside of what God had planned, destined and design for you; trusting God for any miraculous help does not mean you will not experience difficulties; the next step to the plans of God for your life after salvation and obedience are often hidden but will be made effective when you refuse to give up following, trusting, looking up to and believing Him daily. You may lack ideas at some point on the way, but God will never forget that He had given you a word of promises and He will never refuse to lead you because you are following Him every day. Do not give up trusting Him when you have no idea; do not turn back when you have no direction on what to do next; do not be discouraged when disappointed, and do not feel left behind when things are tough. God will never forget His words, His promises and He will never forget any of His children irrespective of their situations and their location.

It will interest you to know that Joseph and his parents perfectly knew God had given him a clear dream but never knew how that dream will unfold in his life; he never knew what that dream will cost him; never knew the route that he will take, had no idea of what he will undergo personally and had no idea whatsoever on what he will be required to do. All that Joseph knew was the final destination of the dream. When he was sold into slavery by his own brothers, Joseph had no idea what will happen to him or the dream next; when he was accused, Joseph had no idea of what to do with himself or the dream; when he was imprisoned, Joseph had no idea of how long he will be in jail or when he will get out or what will happen with the dream. Throughout all the various experiences in jail, Joseph had no idea of what will ever happen to him, Joseph never knew that each day through the experiences, God was taking him a step closer to where He had designed and destined to place him in His revealed dream for his life. On that  faithful day when Joseph in fear stood before Pharaoh, he had no idea what God was about to do until he heard Pharaoh say these words; “You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, see, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.” Genesis 41:40-41. Ideas matters, but when you have none, trust God for the best in life and trust Him for His words, they will not fail.

Like Joseph, people will wonder how you got there despite what stood up to prevent you, hinder you, frustrate you, weaken you, discourage you and disappoint you. I am very convinced that all of Joseph brothers and family members wondered when did Joseph get to Egypt; they wondered what he did to become so powerful and occupy such high position in a foreign land; they also wondered who had helped him along the way, who had given him such recommendation; who did he meet on the way, who rescued him from their wicked intentions, but Joseph in humility gave them the testimony of his life journey: “Then Joseph said to his brothers, I am Joseph; does my father still live? But his brothers could not answer him, for they were dismayed in his presence. And Joseph said to his brothers, please come near to me. So they came near. Then he said: I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt. But now, do not, therefore, be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life. For these two years, the famine has been in the land, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvesting. And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.” Genesis 45:3-8.
