IT IS CHRISTMAS DAY, AND WE ARE WITNESSES

Post date: Dec 25, 2018 7:06:33 AM

After many years of waiting for the promise, after many year of prophesy concerning that same promise, after many years of expecting its fulfillment, and after many year of believe, waiting, and trusting, the God prove His words in ways that men in all generations then, now and of all ages, knowledge, and wisdom in all generations cannot erase the truth and it evidence and Satan cannot take the evidence away even when skeptics try saying something new and arguing about the truth and the evidence. On that Christmas day, God used Mary and Joseph to bring His words to pass; the words He spoke to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden in the presence and hearing of the serpent; the words and promises the prophets of old repeated several time in the Scriptures we now have; the promise the Children of Israel believed, hoped for, and expected; the words the entire humanity and those who expected the Messiah trusted will come. The God who never lies never forgets a single thing never changes in nature and in character did what He and we by His grace are alive to celebrate it today.

Christmas took a long time to come but the word was true, the promise was real, and God gave His continued assurance even when it seems will never happen in the eyes and understanding of men; in all those years of delay, God never forgot, Satan fought to stop it but never succeeded, lied to stop it but never succeeded, used evil deeds to frustrate those who believed and expected it but never succeeded, did you know that nothing will stop the word of God for you? Not any form of delay, frustration, disappointment, discouragement or satanic battle; God’s words will be fulfilled, His promises will come to pass and His purpose for your life celebrated. “I know that everything God does will last forever. You can't add anything to it or take anything away from it. And one thing God does is to make us stand in awe of him. Whatever happens or can happen has already happened before. God makes the same thing happen again and again. Ecclesiastes 3:14-15. Christmas came so God’s purpose will be fulfilled, His plans executed and His desires seen by all men. Christmas is an everlasting plan of God to bring humanity men out from the works of darkness, out from the craftiness of wickedness, out from the pit of hopelessness and shame, out from the controlling hands and thoughts and influence and imaginations of Satan; out from the grips of worshiping god’s of human imaginations, false knowledge and enslaving wisdom; it is an everlasting covenant between God and man; Jesus Christ whom we celebrate at Christmas is the best assurance for all of humanity of what God will do. Moses said:-

“The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me Moses from among you, from your countrymen. You shall listen to him. This is according to all that you asked of the Lord your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, let me not hear the voice of the Lord my God again, nor see this great fire any more, so that I will not die. The Lord said to me, they have spoken well. I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. It shall come about that whoever will not listen to My words which he shall speak in My name, I Myself will require it of him and there will be consequences. But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die. If you say in your heart, how will we know and recognize the word which the Lord has not spoken? When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord and the thing does not happen or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.” Deuteronomy 18:15-22

Let us celebrate this Christmas with a renewed commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ, to listen to Him, to accept His word and to follow Him with all our hearts. The reward and blessing we have in Jesus Christ are the best of God for us. Merry Christmas to you. For prayers Click here
