“AND I WILL MAKE YOUR ENEMIES---------”

Most often it will seem we are under attacks by forces of darkness that we do not know or see, which they do, and most often they overwhelmed our imaginations and thoughts; most often it will seem they have defeated us, they have stopped us, and they have succeeded in their evil and there is nothing we can do. Sometimes it will seem we are helpless in their attack, defenseless in their plans, without direction and knowledge of what to do or counter their plans; most often it will seem their weapons are mighty, strong, and powerful and are working well for them; but despite their size, their strength, and the means of the battles against you, God is not silent and His plans are not destroyed. God had promised to deal with our enemies and He had given us this assurance to build our confidence when we are attacked by our enemies: In righteousness, you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear.Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you. If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing; whoever attacks you will surrender to you. See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc; no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and this is their vindication from me, declares the Lord.” Isaiah 54:14-17

While we are encouraged to be strong in all situations, God will not fold His arms and watch as you are being destroyed by the strong enemies and every that concerns you is also destroyed. He will act in His power, He will fight with His weapons, He will defend you in ways that the eyes of your enemies will not see; He will speak in His Holiness, and He will defeat the enemies in your life. He had done that before and He will do it again. He will give you His grace and power and, “You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you.” Leviticus 26:7. This was what God said and did when the children of Israel were on their way to possess the land He had promised them through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. “I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run. I will send the hornet ahead of you to drive the Hivites, Canaanites, and Hittites out of your way.” Exodus 23:27-28. He promised to make all their enemies turn back and run from them, you will experience this.

If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless, words, you will be my spokesman. Let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them. I will make you a wall to this people, a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to rescue and save you, declares the Lord. I will save you from the hands of the wicked and deliver you from the grasp of the cruel.” Jeremiah 15:19-21

“So do not be afraid, Jacob my servant; do not be dismayed, Israel, declares the Lord. I will surely save you out of a distant place, your descendants from the land of their exile. Jacob will again have peace and security, and no one will make him afraid. But all who devour you will be devoured; all your enemies will go into exile. Those who plunder you will be plundered; all who make spoil of you I will despoil. But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord, because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares. This is what the Lord says: I will restore the fortunes of Jacob’s tents and have compassion on his dwellings; the city will be rebuilt on her ruins, and the palace will stand in its proper place. From them will come songs of thanksgiving and the sound of rejoicing. I will add to their numbers, and they will not be decreased; I will bring them honor, and they will not be disdained. Their children will be as in days of old, and their community will be established before me; I will punish all who oppress them. Jeremiah 30:10, 16-20. God will honor your word against those enemies.
