“GOD SAID TONOAH, COME OUT” (2)

Post date: Jan 5, 2021 12:17:38 AM

When it all began, Noah thought it was all about surviving the flood; he never knew there will be something bigger and more than just surviving the flood ahead for him. He never knew God has something better for his life, and God did not fail in giving Noah the very best. Obedience to the word and commands of God will always take you to something better and someplace higher than what you currently and where you are presently in life. God showed us the reward of obedience in the life of Abraham and now in the life of Noah. Abraham’s obedience brought both spiritual and physical blessings to him and to all his descendants; Noah’s obedience brought blessings to himself and to his children. While Noah was in the ark, none of his family members died, no animal inside that ark died neither did they suffer lack or hunger. God preserved them by His grace while the rest outside the ark all died. Our lives are secured in Him and our future is directly in His care. He will give to every one of us the future He has destined in love through grace.

Noah did not come out of the ark alone. He came out with all the people and animals God put under his care in the ark. This is the command “Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives. Bring out every kind of living creature that is with you, the birds, animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground, so they can multiply on the earth and be fruitful and increase in number on it. So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons’ sons’ wives. All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds, everything that moves on land came out of the ark, one kind after another. Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it. The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in His heart; never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.” Genesis 8:16-21. Noah came out with joy together with others to a new life, a new experience, and a new world environment with greater opportunity and grace to do better things.

The first thing Noah did when he came out of the ark was to build an altar and offer a sacrifice to God; that single sacrifice was pleasing to God such that He had to remove the curse He had placed on the earth and on all living creators when Adam and Eve sinned. Noah’s coming out was significant, Noah’s new experience and a new environment was significant and his life was renewed and made even better. God commanded Noah and everything with him to come out, nothing was left behind and none died. God commanded Noah and everything with him to come out so they can multiply on the earth, and they did multiply; so they can be fruitful and they did multiply indeed, and so they can increase in number on the earth and they did increase none was left in pains or barren, none was fruitless and none failed to multiply. God is commanding and He is taking you out so you will multiply, so you will be fruitful, and so you will increase in number in all things, and nothing will be left without experiencing these threefold blessings from God as it was for Noah, the people, and animals in the ark with him that day.

Noah’s ark was a place of temporal shelter while waiting for the time, season, and moment of the blessings of obedience and faith. You have been sheltered, you have waited, you have prayed and you have been with expectations like Noah waited and expected; it is time for you to come out and experience joy and multiplication and fruitfulness and increase according to God’s love and blessings for you. This year, God is saying to you come out. God did not schedule Noah to remain in that ark forever, it was not his permanent residence, it was a place of shelter from the storm, from the flood, and from the destruction that followed. Now the storm is over, the flood is over, the destruction is over, it is a new time between you and your God, to see His blessings in your multiplication, fruitfulness, and increase. Amen.
