DAVID’S AMAZING REWARD

Post date: Aug 28, 2012 7:11:41 AM

“All has been heard; the end of the matter is: Fear God, revere and worship Him, knowing that He is, and keep His commandments, for this is the whole of man [the full, original purpose of his creation, the object of God’s providence, the root of character, the foundation of all happiness, the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances and conditions under the sun] and the whole duty for every man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it is good or evil.” Ecclesiastes12:13-14

Praise is a powerful, effective and acceptable form of prayer, worship and service to our God. The most powerful form of praise is that which is deliberately expressed in anticipation of a promise, something good, something that will transforms and bless the individual despite the prevailing circumstances. Let your praise be deliberate and purposeful, God loves a cheerful heart, a word, song or acts of praise. He inhabits the praises of His children Psalm 22:3. Let us give our God what He deserves and will appreciates and reward (praises). This might be based on what you have now, what you know about the promised expectation, about the sources of the promise and about the value of the expectation.

Let us learn to praise God, and to live in anticipation of the fulfillment of God’s unfailing promises, rather than live in the lies, fears and doubts from the pit of hell concerning the promise and ourselves. Our God will never fail. Let us praise God for who He is, what He has done in time past, what He will do now and in time to come. He is worthy of our praises and He has a track record of good transforming testimonies. He told Moses “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Exodus 3:6

David was a man of praise before God located him in the forest for the anointing. Through praise in the forest he was recognized and called up to King Saul’s palace to begin the journey of his confirmation as the next King. Through praise to God he succeeded in killing Goliath with a sling and a stone instead of a bow, arrow or knife.  God later described David as a man after His own heart. 1 Samuel 13:14

The songs and writings of David in the bible are evidence of his praised to God. As David saw amazing results in his life, you will see amazing results also in your life. Your praise is important; it matters to God and to you. Your praise is going to quicken the promise, confirm the victory and restore the joy. It is going to bring you recognition and honor. May I say to you now, that something very valuable that will transform your life for good is set to come to you within a very short period from now. We have prayed and we are expecting the promised increase from no one else, but from our Father who loves, who cares, and who makes all things possible in His time. David’s most valuable companion was praises, and he was marvelously rewarded by God.

Let your heart be filled with praise to the living God and your lips will say it without fear. There are several reasons to be thankful and to praise God; your season of praise is here for good.  David wrote; “Keep and protect me, O God, for in You I have found refuge, and in You do I put my trust and hide myself. I say to the Lord, You are my Lord; I have no good beside or beyond You. As for the godly (the saints) who are in the land, they are the excellent, the noble, and the glorious, in whom is all my delight. The Lord is my chosen and assigned portion, my cup; You hold and maintain my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good heritage. I will bless the Lord, Who has given me counsel; yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad and my glory [my inner self] rejoices; my body too shall rest and confidently dwell in safety, You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.” Psalms 16 for prayers Click here
