There is no way that God will forget you when you continue in faith, in obedience, in love for His word and His children. God’s faithfulness is forever strong, His faithfulness real to all who believes and follow Him, and it is effective in all situations. His faithfulness is transforming and life-giving. Though Adam and Eve disobeyed God and His commands in the Garden of Eden by reason of His faithfulness, God did not forget them or leave them in the hands of Satan. Though Sarah and Abraham walking in faith and obedience were looking for a place with a foundation to call home according to the word of God for them; even though Sarah, while believing God for the promised child Isaac suffered barrenness, God did not forget her; though Lot departed from Abraham and settled in Sodom and Gomorrah, God did not forget him there; though Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendego were in Nebuchadnezzar burning furnace, God did not forget them in there, they survived the prison and also survived the fire. Though Lazarus was dead and in the grave, Jesus Christ did not refuse to go and visit his sisters, Christ brought him back to life and to his family; even though Jabez was poor, his life did not end in poverty; even though Dorcas was dead, she was brought back to life through prayers; though Jonah was in the belly of a whale in the deep ocean, God did not forget him there, He brought him out to the place of the mission He had called him to. God never forgets, and never abandons anyone who comes to Him through Christ Jesus, He will not forsake or forget you.

Because of God’s faithfulness, His love, His word, His promises, Jesus Christ, the cross, your salvation, your faith in Him, your prayers and His abundant grace, it is impossible for God to forget or abandon you. Because of His faithfulness, you will overcome, you will rejoice and you will see the joy of His salvation fully restored as Jehoshaphat and the people in Judah did.

“Now it happened after this that the Moabites and the Ammonites, together with some of the Meunites came to make war against Jehoshaphat. Then it was reported to Jehoshaphat, a great multitude has come against you from beyond the Dead Sea, out of Aram, and behold, they are in Hazazon-Tamar. Then Jehoshaphat was afraid and set himself to seek the Lord; and he proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. So the people of Judah gathered together to seek help from the Lord, indeed they came from all the cities of Judah to seek the Lord longing for Him with all their heart. Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord in front of the new courtyard, and said, O Lord God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven? And do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand, there is no one able to take a stand against You. O our God, did You not drive out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel and give it forever to the descendants of Your friend Abraham? They have lived in it, and have built You a sanctuary in it for Your Name, saying, if evil comes on us, or the sword of judgment, or plague, or famine, we will stand before this house and before You for Your Name and Your Presence is in this house and we will cry out to You in our distress, and You will hear and save us. Now behold the sons of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir, whom You would not allow Israel to invade when they came from the land of Egypt, here they are, rewarding us by coming to drive us out of Your possession which You have given us as an inheritance. O our God, will You not judge them? For we are powerless against this great multitude which is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You. So all Judah stood before the Lord, with their infants, their wives, and their children. Then in the midst of the assembly, the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph. He said, listen carefully, all Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat. The Lord says this to you, be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” 2 Chronicles 20:1-15. For prayers, Click here
