“THE SAME PEOPLE WHO PRAYED SAW THEIR PRAYERS ANSWERED”

Hannah had a need for a child; Hannah was humiliated by the other woman and her children, she was made to suffer shame and neglect; Hannah believed God can meet her need; Hannah prayed to God for that same need; Hannah waited on God for that same need, and that same Hannah who prayed and waited for saw and received answers to her prayer, you will receive what you have asked the Lord for. It was Hannah who prayed and it was the same Hannah who received. Jabaz saw his prayers answered even when others think and believed nothing good can ever happen to him. Despite the meaning of his name, he called upon the God of Israel; despite his parent’s anger against him, he believed and trusted God fervently; despite the odds on his physical body he waited on God for answers, and that same Jabez saw the answers to his prayers; I pray that nothing will stop you from seeing answers to your prayers also.

King David said: “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken. Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned. The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.” Psalm 34:4-22.

Prayers are not wishes; they are committed and deliberate actions by men to communicate with the Almighty. It is a process where the mortal men meet with immortal God who is supernatural and extraordinary in all things; it is a means where the divine opens up to meet and respond to all the needs of men on earth; prayer is a means where the physical is opportune through grace to approach and have a discussion with the spiritual. It is a meeting point of the needs of men and the supplies of God from heaven. As you have prayed, you will live to see the answers as others did in their times. Through prayers, we have access to the Almighty God and are able to present our needs before Him. One thing is having the knowledge that God requires our prayers and you having the knowledge of what prayer can do and had done; you having a strong desire to pray for that need with all perseverance; you having the conviction that through prayers, you will have the victory, you will receive answers, you will see God open doors and making ways that had not be there before, and you waiting until the day He will make it possible for you to see, to receive, and to rejoice in what you have asked Him in prayers. Without ambiguity, God answers prayers; He is always caring; always compassionate; always merciful and always loving; He will not turn His back on you for any reason and will not turn you back when you go to Him in the sincerity of mind and purpose. When it comes to answering prayers by God, yours will not be different, the same God they served in times past, the same God they obeyed, the same God they believed and the same God they followed is the same you serve, believed, obeyed and followed. God cannot be different when He comes to you, the scriptures say as He was yesterday so is He today and so He will be till eternity comes. He had done amazing things to many others; He will also do for you. For Prayers, Click here
