“THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT YOU HAVE”

Post date: Sep 7, 2017 1:00:40 AM

Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is alive in us; He is actively with us, and He is for us ensuring we fulfill His commands and remain in His grace. He is coming to take us so that where He is right now, we will be there with Him. He is sitting on the right hand of God the Father Almighty, and we will sit with Him on that throne on high if we continue with Him until the end. The victory we have to be with Him is that we have the Spirit of God dwelling in us and testifying to us daily that Jesus Christ is our Lord; the spirit tells us that He came into the world in the flesh; that He was tempted and condemned and was crucified on the cross on our behalf; that He died to pay the full non-refundable price for our ultimate redemption and freedom; that He was buried and on the third day, He resurrected from the dead and is sitting today on the right hand of the Father Almighty in heaven interceding for us. We have the Spirit testifying in our hearts that we have been saved by grace, we have been washed by His blood, we have been transformed and we have been renewed by His words. We have the spirit telling us that we will have the victory in His name if we continue in Him, and we have the spirit telling us it is well. The spirit bearing witness of Christ Jesus is with us and He will also witness for us today.

The Spirit of God will not tell us anything contrary to the word of God for us in all circumstance and will not take us on the wrong path as we pray, work and desire to fulfill God’s promises for our lives. “By this, you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that[a] Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming and is now already in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this, we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.” 1 John 4:2-6. By the witness of the Spirit of God in us, we know we are the children of God and God had given us the victory.

This is the victory that we have because we have the mind of Christ Jesus working to perfect the truth of the gospel of Christ in us, and the truth is that Jesus Christ had been highly exalted; that at the name of Jesus Christ we have victory over every knee bent on evil against us, every tongue of offense raised for our destruction, and every work or plan or gathering of evil instituted to make us fail or bring us into the devil’s captivity. “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:5-11. We have the victory because we have been given the Name of Jesus Christ.

Because we have the Spirit of God in and with us; because we have the mind of Christ and the Name of Jesus Christ in our hearts and on our lips, we will return with a testimony as the people of old did. “Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name. And He said to them, I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:17-20. For Prayers, Click here
