"DID YOU KNOW, YOU ARE MUCH MORE THAN THESE? (II)"

Moses thought he was out of everyone’s sight in the forest as a fugitive; he thought Pharaoh and all those looking to kill him will not be able to get; he thought to begin a new life even working as a slave serving mater Jethro; he thought he could begin and have a life in that fearful situation, but God did not consider him a slave or a fugitive even when he had chosen one; Moses thought nothing good would ever come out of him after fleeing the house and Pharaoh and Egypt, even in his confused thoughts of what tomorrow holds for him, God’s divine plans set in for his life. God found him out in that forest and spoke to him in ways he had never heard before and with signs, he never thought could be possible. with assurance, God brought him out from there, washed him up with His grace, fitted him with what he needed for the next glorious part of his life; sent him out to speak to Pharaoh with a higher authority than what Pharaoh had, and asked him to be the new leader of His children Israel. God gave him the grace to break their yoke of slavery off their minds and to physically take them out of Egypt. God gave him the power he never had before; God gave him the ability to speak to Him directly and to receive immediate answer; God gave him the grace to be obeyed by the leaders and people of Israel; God gave him open door to ask anything that will make his mission possible and granted all his request throughout the forty years it took for them to move from Egypt to the promised land.

That God who made Moses is your God; that God who found Moses in the forest will find you wherever you are; that God who gave Moses a new life with higher hope and greater authority will give you higher hope and authority; that God who refreshed Moses's thoughts and gave him something better to look up to in life will refresh you and give you better things to look up to in life; that God who was with Moses before Pharaoh and beside Moses before the elders of Israel will be with you before Pharaoh and beside you before the people; that God who answered the prayers of Moses will answer yours. God is asking you right now, did you know you are better than what you are right now?

“One day Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock far into the wilderness and came to Sinai, the mountain of God. There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire from the middle of a bush. Moses stared in amazement. Though the bush was engulfed in flames, it didn’t burn up. This is amazing, Moses said to himself. Why isn’t that bush burning up? I must go see it. When the Lord saw Moses coming to take a closer look, God called to him from the middle of the bush, Moses, Moses, here I am, Moses replied. Do not come any closer, the Lord warned. Take off your sandals, for you are standing on holy ground.  I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then the Lord told him, I have certainly seen the oppression of my people in Egypt. I have heard their cries of distress because of their harsh slave drivers. Yes, I am aware of their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and lead them out of Egypt into their own fertile and spacious land. -----Now go, for I am sending you to Pharaoh. You must lead my people Israel out of Egypt. But Moses protested to God, who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt? God answered I will be with you. And this is your sign that I am the one who has sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God at this very mountain. But Moses protested, if I go to the people of Israel and tell them, the God of your ancestors has sent me to you, they will ask me, what is his name? Then what should I tell them? God replied to Moses, I am who I am. Say this to the people of Israel: I am has sent me to you. God also said to Moses, Say this to the people of Israel: Yahweh, the God of your ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is my eternal name, my name to remember for all generations.” Exodus 3:1-15. For Prayers, Click here
