The One and only true God who keeps you is perfect; He is Holy, pure, forgiving, merciful, able, faithful, and absolutely willing to always be your God, be your guide, and be your defender at all times and in all situations. He will not take His eyes away from you irrespective of the attacks on you as He was with Moses, David, and Job. He will not take His eyes away from your dwelling, away from your children, and away from your resources. He will hold you up, He will take you up when you fall, He will sustain you when you stumble, and He will establish you in the place He had destined for your life. No misfortune will overtake you; no insult or humiliation will destroy you, no wickedness will overtake His plans for your life and no enchantment against you will take you away from His presence.

You may fall asleep, but your keeper never sleeps; you may fall into sin, but your keeper never sins; you may be tempted with evil, but your keeper is never tempted with evil; you may suffer lack, but your keeper never lacks, He is always sufficient in all things; you may be confused and may often disappointed, but the one who keeps you is never confused and will never in any way be disappointed. You may fall sick and become weak, but your keeper is never sick and will never be weak; you may no place to hide from your evil attackers, but your keeper will hide you in a place they will never see or know or have the ability to harm you; you may have no one to help you in times of need, but your keeper will help you in ways that will amaze people; you may have been removed from your home, or job, but your keeper will restore you and restore all that you have lost; you may have been turned back from an open opportunity, but your keeper will not take that opportunity away from you. Whatever He had destined for you will never be taken away from you even when and where you have experienced undue delays and frustrations.

Israel fell asleep as a nation, but their God was always awake. They committed sins as a nation, but their God was sinless, always merciful, and always forgiving. They roamed the wilderness for forty consecutive years, but their God did not depart or feel frustrated to remain with them throughout that period. They had needs for food and water, their keeper provided all their needs; they had no houses to sleep in during those forty years, their keeper provided them with shelters enough to keep them warm and comfortable; they had need for direction, their keeper gave them Moses and filled him with His spirit and ability to hear from Him; they had need for a place they can call their own after four hundred and thirty years in Egypt, their keeper remember His words and promises to Abraham their father and took them out to the land He promised Abraham.

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings, you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place, the Most High, who is my refuge, no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent. He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands, they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot. Because He holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him because He knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer Him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With long life, I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Psalm 91:1-16.
