FATHER, PLEASE DON’T WALK AWAY FROM ME

In the beginning, God did not just walk away after creating everything with the assumption that all is well, He turned around and look at them individually all over again and gave His approval of their excellence and perfection. God the Father did walk away from Adam and Eve when they sinned, He came down to see them and offer them a promise of sending Jesus Christ. God did not walk away from Adam and Eve when Cain killed Abel; He gave them a replacement called Seth.

God the Father Almighty did not away from Christ Jesus our Lord and savior when He was taken to the wilderness and tempted by the devil forty days and forty nights immediately after His baptism. He did not walk away from Him when He was hungry for food; He did not walk away from Him when He was praying in the Garden of Gethsemane though His sweats were blood drops, He did not walk away from Him when Judas Iscariot was plotting to betray Him for thirty pieces of silver. He did not walk away from Him when He was arrested, bitten, stripped naked, given vinegar to drink for water, when He was nailed on the cross, and when He died. The Father did not walk away when Christ Jesus was buried, and on the third day, Christ was raised to life and fully restored in power and with authority forever.

That is the God you are serving today, He will never walk away from anyone who will ever live to place their absolute trust in the redemptive power of salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ in every location under heaven; He will never walk away from you because you are thirsty for a cup water to quench your thirst; He will never walk away because you are having a prolong affliction and very weak; He will not walk away from you because you sick in your body and have some known or unknown diseases; He will not walk away from you because of hardship and lack money to meet your needs; He will not walk away from you because you are bereaved ; He will not walk away from you because you are lonely and there is no partner to accept you for who you are; God will not walk away from you because you are in depts.; He will not walk away from you because you have been layoff; He will not walk away from you because you are being tempted for pursuing His words and promises for your life. God will never walk away from you because friends, foes, and others are walking away from you.

God will never walk away from you. Life may seem too hard, things may not be going as planed and as you may desire, people may be walking away from you, refusing to recognize, ignoring your presence, and keeping you at a distance: people may not be interested in listening to your story or may have been fed up with you every day and every time, but despite all that you will see, know, experience and despite what people may have done or are currently doing, God is still with you. He had not walked away, and He is not tired of listening to your cries, and has not closed His eyes and His ears on you.

God did not walk away from Abraham and Sarah when they made a mistake; He did not walk away from them when because Sarah was barren. He did not walk away from Noah because people were laughing when he was constructing the ark. God did not walk away from Jabez because of his name and situation; God did not walk away from Daniel when he was in the lion’s den; God did not walk away from Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego when Pharaoh pronounced his verdict and when they were thrown into burning furnace. He did not walk away from the disciples when Saul was walking around to arrest them.

Because He had never walked away from any one, He will not walk away from you. As He stood to rescue and restore others, so is He standing to rescue and restore you. “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you” Deuteronomy 31:6. For prayers, Click here
