IN YOUR PRESENCE I STAND DEAR LORD

Post date: Nov 28, 2014 4:59:28 AM

Unlike other gods, the gate to the presence of our God is always open for anyone who desires to meet Him to go through and have a very cordial one on one meeting with Him; this gate is never shut, its lights are always on, road bright enough for clear vision; this gate is never crowded and never without people from all nations, of all profession, of all colors, of all languages, of all ages, of all genders, and of all knowledge. It does not discriminate, and will never disqualify anyone based on anything personal or otherwise.

The invitation to come through this gate is for everyone irrespective of location, situation, wealth and status in the society. God will not turn any one back and you should never turn yourself back for any reason; He is not restricting anyone and you should never restrict yourself; He will not forbid any one from coming, and you should never forbid yourself because of what is going on in your life, your family and your nation. Our God is all inclusive, all loving, all knowing and all powerful, there is nothing He does not know and cannot do. Entering His gate and standing before Him is an opportunity no one should miss.

In His presence we give our worship and receive His blessing; we exchange our weakness for His strength; our foolishness for His wisdom; our emptiness for His filling. In His presence we receive great encouragement to do what is scripturally right and necessary to remain active and useful; in His presence we receive the power to face every situation, the power to defeat every giant, and the grace to overcome mountains. In His presence, we exchange our everyday sadness for His everlasting cheerfulness; in His presence we sing the song of victory and not mourning songs of self-defeat and disgrace from the powers of darkness and wickedness. In His presence we present our entire petition with joy, and we leave His presence with the assurance that we have been heard, and because He hears us, we will have what we have requested. In His presence we are confident enough to discuss our family members, our spouses, our children, our struggles, our job, our shame, our hindrances, our expectations and our feeling without fear of reprisals.

In His presence our confidence is enhanced beyond our strength, and our courage is made bolder than before. No one goes before His presence and leaves the same; no issue discussed with Him remains the same and none is revealed to our enemies; whatever we discuss with our God always remains between the two of us. There is no third party to spy in His presence, and there is no evil imagination, evil dreams and desires that prospers in His presence. Let us go to His presence willingly, gladly, with thanksgiving, with assurance; let us dance with praise and worship in His presence because He had called us to come before Him.

Daniel spent time in His presence and survived the evil plots of his enemies and survived the lion’s den; you will also survive whatever ailment or wickedness standing against you. Elijah spent time in His presence and was able to lock the heavens and open at his will. In His presence we receive everlasting comfort and not temporal consolation; we receive favor to admit our fault and seek a new direction; in His presence we receive liberty, opportunity and great motivation to press on to good things and good deeds.

“Come let us sing to the Lord. Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him. For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods. He holds in his hands the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains. The sea belongs to him, for he made it. His hands formed the dry land, too. Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today. Psalms 95:1-7
