“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17

There is nothing your God does not see, does not know and does not act for your ultimate benefit irrespective of the number of year such is going on. He watched over the Jacob and His children in times of peace and in times of war, He watched over them in Egypt and through the wilderness. He took them through fortified cities and countries. He also took them through hostile nations.

“He knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness these forty years Deuteronomy 2:7

When King Pharaoh increased the labor of the children of Israel, He knew and acted.

When they were in Egypt and needed deliverance He knew and acted.

When they were without enough money and materials to sustain them through the wilderness, He knew and acted.

When the time for the children of Israel to leave Egypt came and Pharaoh resisted, He knew and acted.

When King Pharaoh, his horsemen and the very best of the Egyptian army pursued after the children of Israel to bring them back into captivity, He knew and acted

When they faced the red sea, He knew and acted.

When the spies brought discouraging report to His people in the wilderness, He knew and acted

When they were in need of food to eat and water to drink, He knew and acted.

When they were attacked by their enemies, He knew and acted.

When Balaam the prophet was hired by king Balak to curse and hinder the free passage of the people of Israel, He knew and acted.

When Dothan, Abiram and Korah, rise up against Moses leadership, He knew and acted.

When Miriam rose up against Moses leadership, He knew and acted

When the children of Israel were sick in the wilderness, He knew and acted.

When they needed comfort, correction, and direction, He knew and acted.

When they were bitten by serpents, He knew and acted.

When they were weak, without change of clothes, shoes, and places to rest, He knew and acted.

“All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers. And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live. Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years. Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee.” Deuteronomy 8:1-9
